I have dealt with a few Estate Agents in my time and always felt that they did very little to earn their fee. What a pleasant and refreshing change it was dealing with the team at Kings. Selling a house is extremely stressful, but I always felt Kings had my back. They were always there for me and when it all got a bit tricky they really went the extra mile. Absolute 10/10 experience with King Estates! My partner and I were first time buyers, so we were definitely a little bit lost when it came to this whole process of buying a house. For our viewing, we had lovely Tom who was very professional and knowledgeable about the property. He answered all of our questions/queries swiftly, which was really nice since we had a very different experience during the previous 6 viewings! James, Philippa and the team have just sold my mother's house. They have been progessional throughout from valuation to completion. These guys really do "sell" your house rather than lots of agents who are just order takers. Lauren was very accommodating and helpful throughout the process, always available -one call away and responsive to my emails. She made sure that I was on track with the process and helped me chase the appropriate people involved in the sales process. Lauren also recommended solicitors, surveyors and builders when I needed them. She also shared the meter readings just before I moved in. Lauren also took measurements of relevant spaces for me to be able to order furniture/appliance with the correct measurements. She has been instrumental to purchasing my first home! I would definitely recommend Lauren, Gemma and the Kings Estate team to my friends and family! However, I would also suggest that an orientation be given to the new property owner on/after the move-in: It took some time to look for the meters/stopcock but wasn't too bothered. Thank you Lauren! I am glad that I chose King's to sell my flat. They are an estate agent that doesn't really feel like an estate agent. Their service is much more personal than that...... Property prices probably peaked in 2022, after which it was a case of carefully monitoring the market. Kings visited me a number of times prior to actually launching the sale of my flat. I appreciated their honesty in suggesting a realistic sale price. Once advertised we had four viewings in total of which one made an offer which I accepted. Although 2026 prices are inferior to 2022, the flat I have just made an offer on to buy is at a 20% reduction compared to what the seller paid in 2017, so it's swings and roundabouts..... King's Estate Agents has more of the feel of a family as opposed to a business. We stayed in touch by WhatsApp, phone and email during the selling process. Importantly response times at King's are very quick. This is what you need when you are dealing with buyer objections or questions. The buyer visited my property 3 or 4 times and no one lost their cool! I have dealt with 4 or 5 estate agents in Tunbridge Wells over the years and would rank King's as the friendliest and most efficient of all of them. Highly recommended.
