What a professional and friendly team to work with! Northwood Truro have both sold and rented out houses for me - they are efficient and get property moving quickly. They have found me excellent tenants and their advice and attention to detail is faultless. They provide guidance and help throughout the process and are really knowledgeable, managing to pay attention to the needs of both the landlord and the tenant. I would throughly recommend Northwoods, whether you are selling or renting your property - I would never go anywhere else!

I gave my email address, wrote on the paper, because I dont really think I got an email from them confirming the viewing appointment so I gave my email address again. Me and my husband were waiting whole day for the application form, I even rang them that day about the application. Didnt receive any.

Moving to a new county is nerve-wrecking enough, but moving to a new town was incredibly overwhelming. The staff were very kind, and introduced me to a few towns that I felt I could familiarise myself. Also, due to my work commitments, I wasn't always available. They were welcoming to my mum, and we found the perfect rental home for me to settle in. During my stay, if I had any issues they were quick to respond, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. On moving out, Northwood Truro staff made it easy - no complicated papers, no fuss. Highly recommend Northwood Truro if you are new to Cornwall, and need someone to ease you in.

We rented a house from Northwood Truro for 3 years and have recently moved out. I do have to mention that there was a point in the beginning in which I found a manager incredibly patronising and arrogant, but my understanding is that he has left. Regardless of this, it doesn’t take away the fact that the day-to-day staff that I have dealt with in my time as a tenant have always been kind, helpful and accommodating. We have always found the online reporting system for any faults in the house to be very efficient, and Northwood passed on the issue to contractors promptly. On the odd occasion the contractors themselves may have been slow or hard to contact, a quick call to the office and the contractors would quickly be in touch as the agency had got on the case straight away. The property inspections every 3 months can be a bit annoying as I know some agencies do it 6-monthly instead, but the staff were always polite and quick in inspections and the feedback allowed us to maintain so much of our deposit when moving out. I had seen family and friends move out of rented houses in the past and have nightmares with agencies charging hundreds of pounds for minor issues, and was advised to be stern from the offset when it came to us checking out. However, there was no need with Northwood as they helped us every step of the way when we were getting ready to move out and we’re extremely fair and prompt with our deposit return. On the whole, regardless of who is or isn’t the office manager, all of the other team members are fantastic!

From day one meeting Billie to view the house, I found the whole team at Northwood Truro to be absolutely amazing. I have spent my whole career in a service industry. I have to say that I was incredibly impressed with the thought, care and consideration that I received throughout my tenancy. Letting agents generally have a reputation for looking after the Landlord better than the tenant, but I can honestly say that as a tenant, I could not have wished for higher standards of care and service. You guys exceeded my expectations at every interaction, and I truly felt looked after as a client, and you went beyond the call of duty right up to the end. Fantastic service.

Now we are several months into our new property, I thought it was time to write a quick review about Northwood in Truro. We had been hunting a house to let close to family and were on several agents books. Northwood were very proactive in helping us get a property to suit and Billie phoned us to say she had something suitable within a few days! Normally, having to chase other agents in the past for updates, this was a refreshing and pleasant change!! We went through the application process (as we fell in love with the house after Billie showed us round). It’s all very professionally done in the office and compared to previous agents the whole team were helpful from start to finish. Overall, my wife and I feel comfortable knowing that if anything goes wrong, everything is in place to get resolved very quickly (be it a leaky pipe or a boiler service). So big thank you to you guys and especially Billie for such a warm and friendly customer experience. Hope we are here for a long time. 😀😀😀

Northwood Truro have always offered a superior quality service since I started renting from them over 4 years ago. We cannot fault the service we were given by all the staff - it was friendly, professional and thorough. They were always quick to respond to and act upon any queries or concerns we had. Any issues that arose with the property were resolved within a matter of days and we couldn't have asked for a better relationship with Roger (our landlord) and the other Northwoods agents. I have previously managed my property letting myself, but this time I decided to use Northwood in Truro. I spoke to Roger and the team and was made to feel at ease with both the process and managing any problems. The property was let very quickly, and a report regarding the 1st inspection was sent to me. The information provided in the report was thorough and any problems raised by the tennant have been sorted quickly and efficiently. I am delighted I used Northwood (Truro) as it means less stress for me as they manage the whole tenancy process and manage any related problems.
