I find it very suspicious to see positive reviews for this company where agents are somehow always named and yet having dealt with them for 4 years I never came across any of these agents. Are these real?? Have used Chase Buchanan St Margarets as both a renter and a buyer and they are an absolutely hideous company. I was taken advantage of in myriad ways as a first-time buyer in terms of hiding information, flat-out lying, and trying to rush me towards exchanging contracts to avoid collecting enough information about the apartment. In the end I wasn't even given all of the keys and was told to go to to a locksmith - absolutely ridiculous. As a renter, too, it would take months and months of nagging to get basic issues fixed in the apartment, including simply moving the previous renter's items out of the property and away from blocking the staircase. It was very much a lesson in what to look out for in my next property purchase, but I will never go anywhere near Chase Buchanan again. I still feel traumatised by the experience.

Really unprofessional their renting branch in Twickenham.A waste of time , unprofessional and dismissive way of working from the estate agents I had to deal with .Not only they discriminate clients but also give wrong information regarding renting , guarantors , deposits etc .They don’t update properties online and all about them seem really not clear when you ask information .I booked for a viewing and when I explained I have a guarantor that will help to pass all the financial check needed, not only the estate agent I was speaking on the phone said they don' t work with guarantors without explaining the reason but also dismissed the call and cancel my already booked viewing , discriminating me .Unacceptable and very unprofessional behaviour .

We found a place through the Teddington/Hampton Hill agents, we liked it so we made an offer the next day. The agent was more than happy to take the money same day for the holding deposit so they can take it out of the market as the place is ours. So far so good, we were happy until the next day - they started asking for 12 months rent upfront asap, otherwise we’ll lose the house. We gave them everything they needed for the reference check (even guarantors), but they wanted 12 months upfront and it was nothing that we could do. We ended up asking for the deposit back (it took 1 week to get the money back) and with a big disappointment in agencies.Two months later and the house is still on the market, I wonder why…
