I received a phenomenal service from Jamie and the team, and I cannot thank them enough for all they did for us. I initially signed up with Brown & Merry's main competitor, and they made virtually no effort in selling my property. Once their abject failure became apparent, I jumped ship to Brown & Merry. The best decision I've made recently. From day one they were extremely professional, organised new pictures of the property, and secured viewings quickly. The second person that viewed the house, ended up buying my place in record time. I cannot recommend them enough, and hope my experience helps you to take a leap of faith with them.

Brown and Merry were highly professional and supportive throughout the challenging process. Really pleased with the level of service provided throughout the journey to our new home. Jamie has been instrumental in making this happen for us. I have just completed on the sale of my new home. As a first time buyer I found the team to be really helpful as they took time to explain the process involved. I had fantastic help and advice from Tom who answered all of my questions, of which I had many without delay. I have not at any time had to chase up or wait for updates. Great Sales Pitch, Very Poor Execution

Chose to go with Brown & Merry after a great buying experience years ago. Unfortunately appears times have changed! The initial consultation regarding the sale of our property was excellent, but unfortunately the experience declined significantly after we signed the contract. The quality of the marketing materials was disappointing, with poor property images and an initial listing that lacked attention to detail. Throughout the contract, there was very little proactive communication, no meaningful updates on local market conditions or comparable listings, and we found ourselves suggesting all changes to the listing in an effort to generate more interest. Communication was consistently poor. Calls to the branch often went unanswered, promised callbacks rarely happened, and on the only viewing arranged, the agent arrived 10 minutes late. After deciding to terminate the contract, it took almost four days for the property listing to be removed despite repeated requests. Our frustration peaked when we were contacted by a debt recovery agency regarding payment for an EPC certificate. The original invoice had been filtered into our junk folder, yet despite nearly two months passing, Brown & Merry made no attempt to contact us directly with a reminder before escalating the matter. Overall, the experience fell well below our expectations. While the initial sales process was positive, the lack of communication, customer service, and proactive account management after signing the contract was extremely disappointing and ultimately led us to terminate our agreement and waste several months with no progress on our sale.

Apathetic and over promise

Went with them as they offered a 1 month contract and the salesman was very convincing. Put our house on the market for too high a price, even though we asked them to go in closer to all the other valuations we had. Photos were not great and neither was the brochure. Had a some interest and a few viewings, but not once did they negotiate and get an offer. Stuck with them for 1 month and then went with another agent. They were much more professional and hungry for the sale. We sold within 3 days, and are moving in the next week :)
