TrustpilotI’m a buyer and they harassed me!!
Awful company. I went to look at a house they were selling and since then, they’ve called me 4 times trying to get me to sell my house with them. The typical conversation they start with me is - “your house has been on the market a long time. Is there any reason for it?Its a long time don’t you think?” Or “you won’t sell your house with us even if we charge a zero percentage”?. It’s all a scam this is how they get customers and they’re rude with it. I blocked their number and didn’t buy the house they were selling because they were too forceful.

Very disappointed with the level of service from the Stony Stratford branch.I entrusted them to sell my property for me, very poor and almost non existent communication from the branch including keeping an eye on proceedings with my buyer (first time buyer) which ultimately led to the upper part of the chain pulling out after 20 weeks when it came to light that my buyer had barely even started the process.A costly and very stressful experience.

GoogleWe had excellent Service throughout the Sale of our Mother's House. Yvonne kept us regularly updated on the sale. She was understanding and supportive, and through her persistence and calm persona managed the sale brilliantly. I would highly recommend using Brown and Merry Tring.

GoogleI approached Brown and Merry as had found a lovely property that I wanted to purchase ( also through them) but there was considerable time pressure. The team really stepped up to the mark, and within 2/3 days i already had around 15 viewings booked- all accessed through their network and contacts. The team were extremely enthusiastic and proactive- and made me feel comfortable immediately. I really enjoyed the process and they achieved what i thought was near impossible, with the sale of my house in such a short time frame. I would recommend Brown and Merry going forward- and found the team really personable and helpful.

GoogleI have moved house twice in the last two years and both times I was helped by Brown and Merry, in Tring. On both occasions I received a friendly and professional service. Everyone on the team has been kind, friendly and efficient. Charlotte sold my flat before it even went live and I got the top price. We exchanged contracts this week and I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much. I highly recommend Brown and Merry for both buying and selling.

I went to view a property with my family. I had previously spoken to the agent Tayla and provided my details. At the property, we filled in the form to put an offer on the property. Everything seemed to go well! The following afternoon I received a missed call and voicemail from Tayla asking to confirm if we would like to go ahead with an offer. Having that I missed the call, I replied via email confirming the offer and I will be in touch the following day Friday. Come Friday, I called 7 mins after opening hours and advised the agent is on the phone and left my message once again confirming my offer. I called again, she’s on the phone. Called again in the afternoon as I haven’t received a call back nor acknowledgement of my email. To call this time for the gentleman to insensitively tell me they’ve let the property to someone else….. As a women of colour, this is very concerning to be have your offer accepted and unknowingly taken back with no communication. Taking into Considering how they’ve handled the matter, I would not recommend their services or agent.

GoogleHonestly couldn’t have had a better experience. Ellie McKeown has been incredible from start to finish helping us find a property to rent in Tring. She went above and beyond with communication and assistance and has always been there to provide help if needed at a moments notice. Couldn’t recommend these guys more highly and certainly owe Ellie for the new stage in our life! Thank you!

TrustpilotAVOID AT ALL COSTS - UNIQUELY INCOMPETANT
Having bought and sold many houses I have never received such inept, incompetent and just totally woeful service as provided to me by the Stony Stratford branch of Brown and Merry.They failed to manage my sale, communication was spectacularly awful, were in a total state of confusion and consistently failed to honour commitments.Upon signing up with them they performed a mail drop of the 'successful sale' of my property in the local area - without my consent. They sent me viewing appointments for houses elsewhere. They promised to call and didn't. They failed to return my keys despite numerous requests. All in all totally and completely amateurs.Final insult? Once my chain had broken down they dropped a business card through my door with the message "we'd love to sell your house" !!Please - trust me and avoid this company completely.

I don't normally do reviews but felt that people should be aware that the Hemel Hempstead branch are possibly the worst estate agents I have ever come across little contact rude and didn't tell me the truth on several matters I sat in on several viewings and they didn't have a clue how to sell a property avoid at all cost!!!.
