Completely let down by this agency. Our lease agreement agreed three things on top of standard: 1) A professional cleaning 2) The removal of an extra bed 3) Supplying a chest of drawers Upon moving in we found the flat left uninhabitable - everything from blood, to cigarettes, to broken glass was left behind, on top of sticky grime and filth on every surface. We could not sit on the sofa because it was permeated with filth and the stench was so profuse we could hardly breath. The bed was not removed. The chest of drawers was not supplied. It has been two months since moving in, I wanted to give a chance for these things to be remedied before leaving a review. Our washing machine was found to be broken upon moving in. It has not been fixed. Chesterton's have maintained that they do not manage our property and cannot do anything to help. When they showed us the property, they did not tell us they wouldn't be managing us, and mislead us. They have not done anything to help us. They have let us down and not cared about us at all. It has been extremely stressful and exhausting. We have spent so much time and money on walking to the not at all nearby laundromat and back each week.
