I wrote here to explain it has taken 18 months to have a small issue resolved with the branch in Aldgate and was told to email the details to customer service. As per Chase Evans policy I was supposed to hear back with an acknowledgement within 3 days. It's been more than 10 days and still nothing. I have now escalated to their Directors but not hopeful anyone will even bother replying. Well at least there's a full written trail for the Property Ombudsman :-) This is the most useless company. Don't be fooled by them replying here to say "please send us details so we can investigate and resolve" - this is just for show to win over public opinion. The facts are that Chase Evans asked ME to pay a previous tenant's debt and then completely disappeared when I asked for it to be refunded as agreed. Sounds almost like a scam right? Except its a scam run by a very legitimate company. Go somewhere else if you need a real estate agent...***UPDATE*** They ended up calling me a few days after I posted this review, and after finally agreeing to refund me for the debt, offered me £50 to remove my reviews. The offer was almost insulting. Anyway.. it's been a week since I agreed to the £50 and was told it would take two days to receive it, and still nothing. Pretty sure it was just a marketing thing to trick me into removing the review. Let's see!
