After enquiring about a property, the sales rep asked me several questions being she could arrange a viewing. After answering promptly, she then told me I couldn’t see the property as it had an offer accepted. Waste of time and a poor experience. Mark was very friendly, on his visit to the property. He gives 100% and pride in his job. He sold our house within the week of putting it up for sale. Lisa helped us after the sale with talking to solicitors on both parties to get us exchanged and communicated us regularly to keep us updated. All viewings are accompanied, all prospective purchasers vetted, all offers submitted and above all else, they have your best interests to heart. Towcester homes have handled my family members rent contract and deposit holding horrendously. Would NEVER recommend. Have now stopped responding to them to resolve the money and return outstanding funds which was not held by the correct procedure. Disgraceful! Will be contacting citizens advice and further legal action to retrieve stolen funds! In a cost of living crisis.... you'd think a small company like this would do better. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Hi Leah As we have only had one declined referencing application in the last week I can only presume this is who you are referring to. We make it very clear when we send out tenancy application emails, that adverse credit, such as two high value unsatisfied CCJs, would result in declined referencing. I can assure you that we have followed protocol and have an email trail to confirm this. It is unfortunate that applicants choose not to provide us with the correct information, as this then means time and money is spent on these checks and it is our landlord who will be most affected by the delays in renting their property. This is why the holding deposit is withheld to cover costs and this is clearly stated in the application email before payment is requested. A very professional and polite team of people to be associated with. Clearly focussed on providing a good service to both landlord and tenant which must be a difficult balancing act but transparency throughout gives a really good result. Hazel always does all she can to help and provide solutions to make everyone's life that little bit easier. Would highly recommend Towcester Homes to anyone.

We found Mark, Hazel and Lisa to be very straightforward and easy to deal with. The valuation was considered and backed up by local market facts. Once the sale was agreed we were kept updated by Lisa regularly. They worked well as a team and we would highly recommend them. I bought my new home through Towcester Homes. Throughout the process they have been very helpful, attentive and most importantly, kept in touch with me, which I very much appreciated. The process was slow due to Covid etc, but Towcester Homes were excellent at keeping the communication lines open between all the parties involved throughout the process, right up to the day when I moved in and they very kindly brought the keys round, once we had completed, so we could get in.
