Very poor service once you decide to leave

We had let out our house through Wards for past 4 years. Everything was ok until we decided to try out another estate agent. I informed them about this and did not hear back from them for 2 weeks. After multiple phone calls/emails later, the manager of this person who I was dealing with contacted me and waived off one month of my notice period out of 3, for not getting back to me on time. There after I contacted this manager multiple times in order to get current tenancy information send out to the new agent. Almost all of my emails had a delay of 2 weeks to get a reply. That too after couple of times follow up. In the end, I just used to telephone wards customer care instead of dealing with this person. For the 4 years with them, it was very bad experience in the end and now will never go back to them due to this reason.

Walderslade Office Kim Senior Sales Progressor

Just can't praise Kim Batchelor enough - I really put her through the mill dealing with an exceptionally difficult and very complicated (to say the very least!!) move which am now due to complete on next week. Kim not only got my purchase through, but also had to deal with my frantic calls/tears/and frustration whilst going through marriage breakup and helped me keep sane with her calm and empathic manner which got it all done - I can't thank her enough. I also want to say what an absolutely amazing team the whole Walderslade office are - particularly Kenny Branch Partner and Sam - Marketing Consultant who knew the type of house I was looking for and found my perfect home for my new start! Like Kim, they have been though my traumatic journey into my new home and cannot recommend the whole team highly enough. Bad press sometimes with Estate Agents, but the whole team at Walderslade Office certainly went well over and beyond. They are an outstanding team who I thoroughly recommend wholeheartedly. Thank you once again Kim, Kenny and Sam!!!!!!

I’ve had such a great expirence with…

I’ve had such a great expirence with Wards. I know how tough last year was for not just me but for many people, and trying to find a new flat in Ramsgate after I lost my job was such a pain. I came to wards to discuss the options and what I could afford under my circumstances, James was very professional and helpful and made me feel very at ease with the whole process along with his colleagues. Outstanding service

My partner and I have both used Wards to sell our properties. Shane and his team have been outstanding. As we had two properties to sell and moving together in to one, the timings involved were difficult to manage. Wards worked hard from the beginning with excellent marketing of my property and keeping me update to date with interest received from potential buyers. After accepting an offer I received email updates of the progress of the sale. The team were always friendly and happy to help with any query I had. I would definitely recommend using Wards.

FABULOUS SERVICE

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone at Wards at Walderslade for everything they have done to sell our house. This is our third house we have sold with them over the years and yet again they excelled themselves. A particular thank you goes to Kenny George. We had a few “hiccups” along the way but it was no problem for “Super Kenny!!” Everything was dealt with quickly and efficiently. We never had to chase anything up as he continually kept us informed through the whole process. When a couple of issues did arise he gave us confidence that it would be fine (which was is was!) therefore we had no stress. We would also like to thank Kim Batchelor. Her tenacity is second to none! It was down to this that Kim finally got our exchange “over the line!” She was “on the case” everyday so we just sat back and waited! Moving house can be so stressful but not when you’ve got Wards in Walderslade looking after you. Thank you!

Great service from whole team at Strood wards

We sold our house and brought our new house both with the Strood branch of wards. From start to finish it has been a smooth and slick process, with all involved very helpful. Their ‘in house’ mortgage advisors and recommended solicitors were also great. Wouldn’t hesitate in using them all again. Thanks to Jonathan, Chloe and the team for selling and then securing our new home. Kim Batchelor sales progression lower Gillingham

Kim was an absolute star! As first time buyers we didn’t know how the process worked but she explained it all from the start and kept us up to date at every stage. She was always there to answer any question we had. Our offer was accepted in august and took a while to complete due to the length of the chain and covid 19 but we were always kept up to date with the progression. Our viewing was arranged quickly and meeting covid rules, when we put our offer in the team were very quick to get back to us and start the process. So pleased with the help we have received !

Professionalism to the highest calibre. Dealing with letting agents over the years it is not often you come across someone who is willing to take the time to not only fully explain but to also has the patients to find ways of explaining to help me fully understand new legislation especially with all the changes in lettings over the years.Tony Degiorgio is a real credit to Wards and the Lettings industry. I can not recommend Tony and Wards enough. From the initial meeting to the tenant moving, I was made fully aware of the progress with constant updates. It’s not an easy job having to deal with so many aspects from keeping the landlord and tenants happy but also making sure the references are are ok, the compliance is up to date and the property is then ready for the tenants to move in with the safe and legal check that was offered.

We cannot thank the team at Wards Snodland highly enough for our recent house purchase. The service they provided us was superb, especially Samantha Turner (our initial contact when viewing) who was there when we had a slight wobble before getting our offer accepted, Karen Tydeman (Sales Progressor) who kept in regular contact with us all the way through and had a knack of making the complicated process understandable and Lauren Kelly (Branch Manager) who made us feel super special when we collected the keys on completion day. Although we were not their direct clients, they did more for us than the company dealing with our house sale, not that I am complaining about the service they provided as we were under no illusions when we went for the online mainly self service option but you really do get what you pay for and the difference was immense. We also could not have completed so quickly with out the amazing service from Kevin Denny and his team from Martin Tolhurst Solicitors who were recommended by Wards. Without their diligence and Karen's our purchase would not have gone as smoothly as it did in a relatively short time.

Excellent service!

We got 3 different EA round to value our house and Wards were slightly more expensive but we felt they were more professional so went with them. First of all Brendon came round to give us all the info we needed and value our property. We decided to have the Walk Round Video which not all EA do but was worth the money as we think it helped sell our house? Within a couple of days we were on the market and had 12 viewings booked. Brendon was very friendly, helpful and kept us informed at all times. We sold our house the following weekend. Debbie Brewer then took over the sale and was also very friendly and helpful. Everything went smooth and we were always kept informed of how things were going. Challenging Times Indeed

Can't thank the Ramsgate Team of Dan, Dani, James and Lucy highly enough for their dedication and support in the sale of my Mothers house. These were extremely challenging times indeed. Not only was the pandemic making life difficult for all concerned but being nearly 100 miles away in Essex we couldn't travel. We relied heavily on the support and dedication of all to achieve a successful sale at a price we could accept. Indeed at one time I was told James spent more time at the house showing prospective purchasers around than in the office - think he became a stranger!!! I’ve had a very good experience with Wards so far, this was especially down to Rhys who has been very kind and attentive and wants what’s best for the customer. I have spoken to a view organisations where their staff haven’t been as helpful and thanks to Rhys I’ve managed to get on the right path to get a mortgage which is best for me by using their In-house advisor Emma Lawton who works for a company called Mortgage Matters Direct.
