GoogleA complete waste of time! They do not respond to enquiries via their website or reply to emails, so we placed the property with another agent outside of Tickhill. In turn, they missed out on selling a completely refurbished cottage in a sought after location which would have been a very easy sale. GoogleUnbelievably terrible, put an offer in I was told it was accepted but I would l need to provide prof of funds, etc. They suggested I email all my personal details. I emailed them asking if they could send them the details in a mode secure manor. They just black holed my question, never got back to me. I tried calling a couple of times but they were closed, not a problem but they just never chased and now sold the house to someone else. Disappointed doesn't cover it. I complained but nothing they can do. Can't take the house off someone else. Could not recommend them for selling or buying. imagine trying to sell using this company. You would never know if they have got anyone interested if they just can't be bothered to follow up. 0 competency from there actions and attitude when I spoke to them.

GoogleThis was the second time I have been involved in a house transaction with Portfields, once as a buyer and once as a vendor. Having already secured buyers for our property privately, we approached Portfields to ask if they would still manage the private sale. It was truly worth its weight in gold. All of the staff that we dealt with during a particularly stressful sale, involving some issues in the chain, were professional, communicative and went above and beyond to ensure the sale went through. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Our sale ran like clockwork! from our initial meeting with Julian, to Helen who handled the viewings and pre sale with great enthusiasm, to then be taken over by Tanya who kept us informed at every step. GoogleWe bought our current property from Portfield's and are now using them as agents to rent out our old home. They are always friendly approachable and helpful. When our first tenants did not leave the carpets or kitchen in the expected state Portfield's negotiated that we kept their bond and pointed us towards tradesmen who fixed the problems providing good quality and value. The property was turned around and rented out again within a reasonable timescale. Portfield always communicate quickly, professionally and responsively about any issues the Tennant reports so that these can be fixed immediately by our choice of tradesman. They have a bank of reliable trades people that they use regularly who provide good value for money and sort out issues quickly. GoogleI cant praise this lettings agency enough. We were looking for a long term let as our home. Came across a property of their website, we contacted portfield garrard and wright and from that moment they were professional, helpful and quick to respond. Dana from lettings side quided us through the process and made everything easy and relaxed. We have been here over a year now, there was an issue with a pvc door lock at one point. This was dealt with within 24 hours and done at a callout time that suited us. The bi annual inspections are again booked to suit our needs and are completed in a friendly and relaxed manner. GoogleDishonest and unprofessional. Absolutely disgusted with the service. I had an offer accepted to purchase a house with them, paid my solicitor to drawn up the documents then the following week Portfields et al rang to say the sellers had ‘taken it off the market as they could no longer sell due to their finances with their new build house fallen through’. I had seen it has been taken offline from Rightmove so believed this. Now, only a few days later, it has a sold sign outside by Portfields et al and was sold while my solicitor stuff was going through behind my back! Extremely snakey what they do for a few extra quid. Not open and honest at all. Was warned about this by a friend who had the exact same experience, but said it could be different for me. It wasn’t.NegativeProfessionalism
