It seemed like an impossible task as we found the bungalow of our dreams but our house was not even on the market so we called upon the services of Stuart Thomas to market our property. It went on the market on Wednesday and sold two day's later! From minute one nothing was too much trouble, we could not have asked for a better service. Everything they said they would do they delivered one hundred percent. We highly recommend Stuart Thomas Estate Agents.

Well I can honestly say this estate agent was fantastic from start to finish. The personal touch all the way through and you don't get lost in the system and are on the case constantly. The picture quality of our property was to a very high standard and we sold within 2 weeks of their pictures going live. The larger agents see to be to ambitious with their quotes and statements where Stuart was honest and factual and didn't bamboozle us with figures and percentages on the marketing side. Each member of staff knew exactly who we were when ringing up so would absolutely 💯 RECOMMEND this fantastic estate agents.

Stuart Thomas (and the team) found me a buyer for my flat in a week, which was very impressive! But unfortunately the buyers mortgage company recommended the worst, slowest and rudest conveyancing solicitors. This resulted in a very long and drawn out sale process (nearly 5 months). This is where STE came into there own chasing for updates so the sale could finally go through. If it wasn’t for the constant chasing I think the sale would have fallen through. Thank you for all your hard work 😃.

I have rented with Stuart Thomas for a year and a half before purchasing our own property and I must say that these guys are really amazing! They were very quick in responding whenever we needed any assistance from them and everyone in their office is super helpful! I think it's worth mentioning that our purchase was pushed back a couple of times due to some chain issues and Stuart Thomas helped us extend our delay both times without any demands which we are very thankful to them for. Excellent estate agency with excellent people working for them!

We used Stuart Thomas for our recent Hadleigh house sale because of their knowledge of the local market. We'd also had a good experience with them when we bought our Hadleigh house 12 years ago and so went to them when we wanted to sell. The sale of our property was very drawn out with multiple issues with the house 1 down the chain and the sale took around 9 months to complete. 95% of our dealings were with Wendy and we found her to be exceptional. She chased the whole chain more than anyone else, regularly get up updated and provided a brilliant service despite the pain the whole process was causing everyone. I know our buyers really valued her help and input too. The interactions with everyone else at Stuart Thomas were also very good, from the photo shoot through to talking to Wendy's colleagues when she was on holiday or busy. The benefit of a small. local estate agent can be invaluable in our opinion. We can't recommend them highly enough 10/10, thank you for all your hard work.

ONE OF THE BEST (namesake is a coincidence) Apologies for the length of my review, but credit where credit is due. My first involvement with Stuart Thomas Estates, was when I found a property to view online. From the very first meeting I was VERY IMPRESSED, with their customer service. Especially when Stuart himself went out of his way to collect me from my then home in Southend to view a property in Benfleet. Due to myself being unable to drive, who does that?? Stuart Thomas certainly did!!! All through the initial viewing Stuart was very honest, helpful and informative. Which in my experience with other agents seems to be difficult, not this man, he knew how to deliver. Obviously I put an offer in, and got accepted. All through the process Stuart and his colleague Wendy, (who was my dedicated contact) kept me up to date on every aspect of my purchase. This made, what some say a stressful time, painless, and to top it all a nice bottle of fizz to congratulate me on my completion!! If and when I sell again. There's only one place I'll go.........Stuart Thomas Estates Thank you.

Unfortunately I have had a bad experience with this agent. They do not take phone calls for lettings, only for sales. I finally booked an appointment after many emails and a missed property( first property was gone by the time they responded to view) then the agent didn’t turn up to the appointment to let me in to see the second property, I phoned the agent and they tried to contact the letting agent who didn’t answer their calls. The agent then accused me of being late even though I was on time (5mins early actually) they eventually called me back after I had been waiting with my children in the cold of the coldest week of January for 20mins, and asked me to wait again until they got hold of the agent. I waited a further 10mins and then they didn’t even call me back after this. I left and will never rent a property though this agent. For landlords please avoid using this agent for your property
