From day one, Stuart and his fantastic team were a dream to work with. Everyone responded promptly and courageously, we never had to chase for an answer to our many queries. Selling our beloved family home to downsize was a wrench after 18yrs but the team always had just the right touch, especially during difficult lockdown times. Wendy Baily is a superb negotiator, armed with knowledge and experience, moreover, her ability to turn the heat on and off utterly impressed us. An absolutely outstanding team who actually treat you like a person and not just a money earner for them. We purchased a house through Stuart Thomas this year and they went above and beyond keeping us up to date not only the purchase, but the sale of our own property, which they weren't even selling - The team cares so much about their customers that they ensure they know everything they can about the chains they're involved in so that they can keep everyone as worry free as possible. A few years back, we had to sell our home in Leigh. We used an agent in Leigh, but after 3 months of no contact or responding to our calls, we contacted Stuart Thomas & the property was sold in no time. We have missed living in Leigh but didn't think we could move back. We called local agents for valuations, hours of chat & if you go with them you could win a holiday! Small but Great!

It all began when we needed three valuations of my late mother’s bungalow for probate. The quote from Stuart Thomas was the one in the middle but this was not the only reason we chose this independent local agent when we eventually came to sell. Not only were we impressed with the lack of hype and spin but also, unlike the other two agents, they put no pressure on us to market the property. In fact they left us to contact them in our own time. We can thoroughly endorse the positive experience of other reviewers. From finding a buyer through to successful completion, the service from Stuart, Keeley and Wendy was courteous, thorough and professional and not once did we feel “hassled”. If like us you had an inherent distrust of estate agents, we suggest you go to Stuart Thomas and prepare to be reassured!

I went to Stuart Thomas wanting to buy a bungalow. They also helped me sell my house. Marketing my house was a painless process and we had several viewings and offers within 24 hours. I have been renting my home for the last 10 years and our building recently changed Managing agents to Stuart Thomas. It was the best thing the owner could have done! There had been so many issues with the property the previous management team hadn't even tried to resolve! Enter Simone....not only was she approachable she listened to my concerns and within a week had all the maintenance and repairs booked in to be completed, some that had been on going for the last 3 years! All the work has nearly been done and the last job is booked in! Even the trade people who Stuart Thomas engaged to carry out the work have been absolutely brilliant! Stuart Thomas Estates are by far the best estate agents out there. We had so many obstacles in the way of purchasing our property (covid being the biggest problem) and as first time buyers I must admit we didn't know much about how things worked, but Stuart Thomas were extremely honest and helpful throughout. Wendy in particular was very easy to talk to and advised us throughout, making sure no stones were left unturned. Unfortunately I couldn't be there when my husband collected the keys for our property but he commented on how friendly the team were when he arrived and he was congratulated with a bottle of bubbly, which I thought was a lovely touch. We have had such disappointing service from other estate agents in the past so dealing with Stuart Thomas was like a breath of fresh air. We are over the moon with a new home and we have Stuart Thomas to thank for that and therefore I couldn't recommend them enough!!
