For various reasons I have bought and sold several properties in the last few years. When selling (and I have the choice) I have found Chamberlains at Teignmouth to be an excellent company to work with. The whole team, ably led by Helen Potts, are caring and considerate and they actually listen to what is said to them! Their valuations have always seemed to be realistic - they do not, for example, overvalue just to get the work. An honest team that I am pleased to recommend.

From my experience I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone trying to decide which agent to choose in the town, there is only one as far as I am concerned, Helen and her team! One point is the signage of the shop needs updating it does not do justice to the service.

From initial enquiry to purchase completion, the service from Helen and her team at Chamberlains has been first class. When we were first looking in the area and therefore meeting different agents, the difference with this sales team was apparent from the beginning. They obviously take time to know their properties so that they can give you full information, which was not always the case with others. Once we moved on to purchase dealings, the manager Helen took charge and has been the central, dependable anchor for the whole proceedings. Communication has been excellent throughout. It is no exaggeration to say we would not be about to take the keys of our new property without Helen's mediation and common sense dealing with multiple solicitors! Chamberlains have been a pleasure to deal with and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Outstanding service from team who go more than the extra mile I have sold 6 houses before this one and I have NEVER come across an agent who is so pro-active, helpful and does so much to make the sale go smoothly. On a 1-10 scale, these guys get way more than a 10. I was selling the house after a death and doing it remotely so the whole thing was quite difficult. Helen and team were superb. They kept me informed, organised for things to happen locally, such as someone to service the boiler, clean the house and do the house clearance. When the first sale fell through, they had the house back on the market the following morning and had 2 offers by the same afternoon. And all done in a charming and friendly (but highly efficient) way. They acted as a valued advisor when the buyer was forced through difficult circumstances to lower the offer slightly. On completion day when my solicitor was nowhere to be found, they kept me up to date on what was happening. If you are selling a house in the Teignmouth area, you simply HAVE to use Chamberlains. I certainly would!

I chose Chamberlain's based initially from a review I read posted by an old school friend. Throughout the entire process I never had any trouble reaching any of the team members and I always felt that they obliged any queries I had.
