I have been super impressed with the service I have been offered by Dexter’s! I was in a race to buy another property before I had mine under offer following the new Covid guidelines. Ann Sinclair in the Teddington office was absolutely fantastic at getting things moving quickly, alongside her team- Siobhan, Hannah and Ryan. They also got an excellent price for my property and were successful at getting many buyers through the door! I have worked in the property industry previously and I was super impressed by the service provided! Had an amazing experience with Dexters, from the period of signing up, looking for properties that met every requirement of mine until the last bit of paperwork. Not a lot of real estate agents were getting back to me so consistently during quarantine. Sara in particular was a massive help. She was professional and walked me through everything in detail. The service was good until we signed -- this is why they ask for reviews being made early. From then it has gone worse and worse. We have had several problems, starting with the garage that was advertised but they then pretended the flat didn't have one. It then took several months to finally get the keys and access to it. We have had several other problems, such as mould, windows breaking or flooring needing reparation. This is not abnormal (the flat is old), but the reaction time is. It took, for each problem, months to get solved. This was obviously a big problem with mould, which we ended up cleaning ourselves. Months after the problem started, we are now still living with multiple windows that can't open nor close correctly -- with wind entering. The contractors they hire are also clearly the cheapest possible ones, with the obvious drawbacks of low quality work and no reliability. Finally, and this is the most annoying, our property manager has now decided to completely ignore the existing problems in his emails with us. Next time, we will obviously go through another agency. It's worth paying more in order to avoid this treatment.

We’ve just completed on a property today, after four months. It was up and down with this property from day one with lots of nail biting waiting and at times when we thought we’d lost the property. Through it all, Lesley (the after sale support manager) was exceptional in answering any queries promptly, chasing for updates with the seller as well as both parties solicitors, moving everyone towards the finish line. It is so rare to come across someone who is so patient, sensitive, and dedicated in providing this level of service. I can honestly say, we couldn’t have done it without her.

I don't often write reviews but wanted to write this one for Dexters, who took over the sale of our house from another high street agent, as we weren't getting the traction we needed and had had negative estate agency experiences, which i can hands down say, they turned around for us - into such a positive experience. So much so, we ended up buying through them too. From beginning to end - they were diligent, transparent, efficient and communicated and advised openly and regularly. Most importantly, they got the right potential buyers through the door in the first place and unlike other agents promises of high sale price with lower agent fees, didn't over price to begin with, so we were under no false expectations and most importantly, they had a strategy (also unlike other agents) and i believe that one of the major factors why we sold through them. And sold quickly. The agents were also fantastic who tirelessly showed prospective buyers around, understanding and highlighting the house's USP. The management team were reassuring and guided us the whole way. And the follow up afterwards was an added bonus. It's not often you can write positively about estate agent experiences, but credit where credit is due - which is why i wanted to thank all the Teddington team and write this review.
