I invited Stags to advise me as to the value of my property and how best to sell it. It’s a quirky old place, lovely but not the easiest house to market. From the moment I Charles came and valued the place until completion day, Stags were incredibly professional and helpful. Although I had contact with every member of the team, David De Bloeme was the person who was my main point of contact. His advice was invaluable. He was attentive and always kept me in the picture throughout the marketing process. Emma carried out many of the viewings. She’s quick to take in information and did an excellent job of passing this on to clients. Unfortunately for me, our sales fell through on several occasions, we lost buyers because they had lost their buyers. On each occasion when a problem arose, David informed me personally and promptly and came up with a plan as to how to achieve a sale in difficult circumstances. Every suggestion he came up with came to fruition. And finally, we got our sale and the sales contract was completed. I can’t recommend Stags highly enough. I chose them because they have always dealt with sales of my family’s property, it was a firm I trusted. And my experience on this occasion has shown me that that trust was not misplaced. David and his team were just brilliant. Thanks so much.

Literally never respond to viewing requests. Cash buyer with other properties - not a tyre kicker. Bought three other properties in Taunton alone so not a time waster. Messages left, emails sent and nothing. Others have exactly the same experience so not unique. Looking at a 730k property and asked 3 times for a viewing by email. If I was the seller I'd be none too pleased with that. Workshy at best - dodgy at worst. I'll certainly never use them for any sales.

HAVING A DREADFUL EXPERIENCE WITH STAGGS. MY HUSBAND DID NOT CANCEL DIRECT DEBIT WHEN WE MOVED OUT OF THE PROPERTY, STAGGS HAVE TAKEN IT. WHEN WE HAVE ASKED FOR IT TO BE RETURNED THEY SAY IT HAS BEEN PAID TO THE LAND LORD AND WE WILL HAVE TO TRY AND GET IT OFF HIM - HE LIVES IN TOKYO? LEGAL MMM? WHEN WE RENTED THE HOUSE IN STONEGALLOWS WE WERE ASSURED THE HOUSE WOULD BE CLEANED. WE FOUND IT IN A VERY MISERABLE STATE AND AFTER 3 DAYS OF CLEANING STAGGS SAID THEY WOULD GET IT CLEANED. THEY THEN WENT ON TO TELL US ABOUT HOW ANNOYED THE LANDLORD WAS WITH THE COST OF THE CLEANING. NOW WE ARE AT THE END OF THE TENANCY WE CAN NOT GET OUR DEPOSIT BACK AS THE LANDLORD WISHES TO REFER IT TO THE DEPOSIT SCHEME TO TRY AND RECOUP SOME OF HIS MONEY (THE AMOUNT HE IS ASKING FOR JUST HAPPENS TO BE THE SAME AMOUNT AS WHAT HE APPARENTLY SPENT ON CLEANING) - FORTUNATELY WE HAVE PHOTOS OF WHEN WE MOVED IN AND WHEN WE LEFT IT. THE 5 BDROOM HOUSE HAS TERRIBLE DAMP ISSUES DUE TO ITS FLAT ART DECO ROOF WHICH WERE IGNORED AND NOW WE ARE BEING TOLD THAT WE NEEDED TO GET RID OF ALL EVIDENCE OF DAMP OFF THE WALLS. STAGGS ARE NOW SITTING ON OUR MONTHS RENT OF £1650 AND NOT HELPING US GET OUR DEPOST BACK WHICH WILL NOW TAKE UP TO 3 MONTHS. IF YOU HAVE A SPARE £4000 HANGING AROUND AND DONT EXPECT SUPPORT AS TENANTS THEN USE STAGGS BY ALL MEANS.

We had an unusual property that could fall into a couple of different categories which made marketing a bit tricky. This did not phase the Team at Stags who were very professional, friendly, helpful and ultimately successful in selling our property. We also looked at properties they were selling with a view to purchasing one and again the way they conducted the viewings was relaxed and very professional, just a shame we found the house we wanted marketed by a different agent and that experience was nowhere near as comfortable. My wife and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the Team at Stags Taunton whatever the size and type of property you are looking to sell, they will have sold something similar for sure.
