To All @ Robert Cooney For the entire duration re marketing and selling of my property, The whole team at RC were nothing short of exemplary. Owing to the rather challenging economic situation ( we all needed nerves of steel ) over the past 6 months or so. Throughout this time, it was Sarah who led the way, demonstrated an amazing level of commitment and determination to get this over the line. This sale would have fallen of a cliff without the dedication from Sarah [ Sales progressor] Exceptional speedy communication was the key to keep us [ buyer and seller ] together in what was in the end an extremely tense deadline [ Must add Maitland & Walker were outstanding too ] They [ RC ] were courteous, responsive and unfailing professional at all times. We recently used Robert Cooney to sell our house. Gail was prompt to come round and appraise our property, She was friendly, knowledgeable and gave a clear indication to the process. This was the first time we have marketed a property. We sold the house within a month and can't fault the fact they found our buyers. However we found the sales progression experience frustrating. Technically we had one sales progressor, but in reality we rarely dealt with that team member and got inconsistent messages from different members of staff, with no clarity to why we weren't dealing specifically with our designated progressor. This led to us having to deal with our conveyancer to chase up how the chain was progressing personally and relying on the estate agent from our onward purchase to keep the chain intact by dealing with our vendors when the chain wobbled. On the days after exchange leading to completition Robert Cooney didn't get in contact to go over any procedures- we had to ring and ask what we needed to do in regards to keys and handover. This left us feeling a little abandoned.

We have successfully sold 2 properties this year with the assistance of Rob, Kate and the team. With the second property, the team (particularly Gail) was tenacious and focused on finding us new buyers after two successive buyers pulled out for reasons out of our control and unconnected with the property. We would strongly recommend Robert Cooney as leading estate agents in the Taunton area as they know the market and the potentia buyers and are no nonsense, commercial, persistent and get the job done.

I definitely recommend R Cooney to every and anyone wanting to sell their property. The entire Sales Team were consistently helpful, professional and diligent, keeping me updated and patiently addressing my various queries. In particular I'd like to highly (5*****) commend: Gail Durbin, and Sarah Hallsworth who genuinely treated me as their priority. (I had already had the wonderful services of Gail for two other properties, a few years before; thus, I knew I'd be in the best of hands). Gail even found me a good builder, when one was needed, (and, as I was, living far away from Taunton) following a survey report! Nothing seemed too much for this Team; these Estate Agents were an absolute pleasure and joy to deal with, giving me first class service, reassuring, and, at the top of their profession.

Robert Cooney and ||Co. have now sold 2 houses in the last 6 months for me and I feel qualified to be able to offer a reasonable review of their services. The whole team are very knowledgable and go above and beyond what most agents will offer, to push the sale through. Sadly my 2nd house was held up by a hugely inefficient buyers solicitor and lender, who, between them managed to extend the time of the sale from when we agreed a deal to exchange of contracts, by 6 months. I can only admire Sarah Hallsworth for her tenacity in chasing all parties almost daily, until the deal finally went through. Thank you Sarah. To show my confidence in the firm, I have just lodged two more investment properties with them, and within days they have found a serious potential buyer for each and we are currently negotiating. Well done Will. There are few Estate Agents in Taunton with the integrity of Robert Cooney and his team.

An utter delight. I moved down 2 years ago from Yorkshire for work. I was completely unaware of the area and nervous about choosing a property. I went to Robert Cooney after a different estate Agent based in Taunton and in over 6 weeks they didn't even get me a viewing. So I looked around and rang a few alternatives. I was immediately taken by the enthusiasm from my man Ben at Robert Cooney who was dead keen to do business. So I gave them the go ahead and within I think it was 2 days they had an offer which after a bit of haggling was agreed. I appointed the solicitors who handled the purchase for me 8 years ago. They were instructed on the 3rd July but thats when everything ground to halt. Repetitive phone calls did nothing and I'm sure an Exocet up there rear end would have done nothing. Desperation crept in until Sarah from Robert Cooney got on the case. Absolutely bloody wonderful!!! Regular phone call reports and within 2 weeks of Sarah's involvement the deal is done, completed. We've just experienced both sides of the house moving process with Robert Cooney, selling our old house through them and buying one also marketed by them. I've given a four star rating because, despite Rohini and Ben providing an excellent five star service leading up to offers being accepted, we were then handed off to Sarah, who we didn't feel was as on the ball. I won't go into details, suffice to say that phone calls and emails were not always answered, and things that needed chasing were not always chased. That said, from offer acceptance to moving took 12 weeks, so we can't complain too much.
