We have just sold a property through Palmer Snell. They were recommended to us from a friend who had enjoyed a good experience with them. From start to completion, I found the whole process stress free and delivered from a very professional team. The team kept me informed on a weekly basis on how things were progressing. There were hic-cups with one buyer dropping out late in the process, but the team quickly got into action with numerous viewing that resulted in another sale. Very poor customer service at the end of our tenancy. Despite having agreed to the amount of deposit to be returned with our landlord, we have found that the team at Palmer Snell have been slow to respond to our request for the return of the deposit. We are now having to resort to making use of the tenancy deposit scheme to raise a dispute to regain our deposit even though we and our landlord agreed how much should be returned at the start of October.

Me and my partner are currently part way through purchasing our first home using Palmer Snell and Countrywide Mortgage Services. Their staff have been very kind and helpful, especially Hannah who suggested the property that we ended up putting an offer on, as well as arranging a meeting with a Countrywide Mortgage broker, and Grace who we had several viewings with and who was very informative and helped us make the right choice. Also we would like to highly praise Countrywide Mortgage Services based in the Palmer Snell building. Our meetings with our mortgage advisor Beth were fantastic, she helped us through all the important stages of finding the best deal and the best lender as well as recommending a solicitor, and doing a lot of the leg work liaising between both lenders and conveyancers for us, which as first time buyers has made the process a lot less stressful. We would definitely recommend her as she has kept in regular contact during this time and has been extremely friendly and knowledgable about the whole process. A credit to her company.

I wanted to say that I have been very lucky to be dealing with the most caring and kind person I could ever wish to deal with at Palmer Snell. Grace Mapstone is an inspiration and a huge asset to the company she works for. I let her down because I cancelled a viewing she had arranged for me due to having an offer accepted on a house I liked prior to my viewing. Grace was so supportive and understanding. She still offered to help me to find a surveyor. She knew a bit about me after I rang her and she just showed me so much encouragement, I am very humbled by her kindness and care. 1 star is too high for this branch! Incompetence, deception, a massive lack of empathy. Unskilled and unknowledgeable staff. A huge lack of communication, understanding and accountability for their mistakes and errors. Undue pressure put on us by them, due to mistakes they had made. One staff member will tell you one thing, and another will tell you something completely contradictory two minutes later. The staff are rude and condescending, they never answer the phone, nor emails. They rope you in by sending the most lovely member of staff to value your house, sign you up. Then you get lumped with staff who honestly, shouldn’t be employed in general, let alone in the industry! I could go on and on. So if you want to be deceived, ignored, condescended and belittled then go ahead! Otherwise avoid at all costs!
