We contacted connells in person 22/12/23 to say we haven’t had a deposit back. They lied about emailing the landlord as the landlord confirmed he hadn’t received any emails. We explained we have no money for Christmas and a manager called mark assured us a same day payment would be raised today 23rd. They didn’t call back as promised. After calling several times they told us we won’t get the deposit till after Christmas. This has ruined our Xmas and they do not care about tenants. Avoid this agency at all costs. They don’t care about their tenants.

I have just rented a property with the help of Connells. Relocating from London to Somerset has hands down been the most stressful experience I’ve had to go through and my stress levels at times got the better of me! Ellie and Adam from the Lettings team had the patience of saints. They went above and beyond to help me, showed immense professionalism and are clearly both hard working individuals! Having picked up my keys today - and I’m still calling Adam & Ellie to ask stupid questions - I know they will be on the end of the phone to help talk me through things. As a tenant, I find that very reassuring! Forever grateful to you both for getting my new home over the line :)

What can I say, from day one I felt comfortable when Lauren first came over to talk to me about renting my property. I was looking for a quick turn around due to personal circumstances and being new to it all I was grateful to receive sound and honest (something which is rarely seen these days) advice. I instantly felt a level of comfortability with them! And then to see them go the extra mile (many times) to help with getting the flat ready in time for a tennant was amazing! We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate The Connells team in Taunton for doing an excellent job of selling our house. Dominic came to see us and when he saw the property he said give me two weeks and I will have this house sold for you. I was a bit sceptic but thought he seemed to have a really enthusiastic interest in what he was doing and said ok let’s give it a try. Well within a week they had found a buyer and the house was sold. Right through the process of buying and selling with Connells we found the whole team Dominic, Mahaela, Daniel and Liam were excellent at keeping us informed as there seemed to be a sense of real dynamic interest within the whole team as they all knew what was going on when asked about our progress. Constantly trying to upsell buyers their in house mortgage brokers, which they tried to hard sell on every interaction. Recently found out they’ve been investigated by panorama which did certainly not come as a shock.
