Keenans came to me very highly recommended, as the best estate agents to use when selling a house in the Blackburn area. I was not disappointed. From start to finish, the service which they provided was exemplary, and far superior to that which I received from the solicitor who dealt with the contract and conveyance, which was as hands-off as Keenans were hands-on. Everyone I dealt with throughout the entire process was helpful, efficient and courteous, and the whole experience was better than I ever imagined that it could be. From initial valuation to eventual sale, everything happened seamlessly, with the full asking price being achieved without any apparent hassle.So, an excellent outcome! I am able to recommend Keenans wholeheartedly, and without reservation of any kind. They are a fully professional outfit in every respect.

This was quite a stressful experience until Nicky became involved to assist the sale through to completion. Really driven and motivated and had her work cut out with the poor conveyancing service we had. Her communication was faultless and we were informed at every step of the process. Where do I begin. Keenans are liars. If your selling a property through them then please avoid. They will not get the best price for you. All they are after is a quick turnaround and put pressure on the sellers in accepting an offer which in this instance they were old and vulnerable. I'd put in an offer on a house I liked only to be informed that my offer was rejected because of the size of the deposit of 70%. Why should that matter when I had a mortgage in principle agreed for the remaining amount. I then spoke to the vendors directly who informed me that Keenans had put them off from accepting my offer despite it being the highest. The poor vendors were old and had been lied to by both Robert and the branch manager Jonathon about my financial situation. I will be taking this matter up with the property ombudsman as Keenans should not be allowed to conduct their business like this.

Cannot speak highly enough of Keenan's! If you need an estate agency, do not hesitate to hire this company. You'll be in the safest of hands. The whole staff team are brilliant. They sold our house on the first viewing day and "held our hand" right the way through the whole process. Every query was responded to immediately. Their professionalism and customer care are beyond compare. We had not moved house for 30 years so we were very nervous about the process, but the Keenan's team made sure everything went smoothly for us. They were particularly supportive about my husband's serious illness and kept this in the forefront of their minds during every interaction. It doesn't matter who picks up the office phone - you're guaranteed the same excellent customer service from every single team member. We can't thank them all enough for everything, although special mention must go to Paul, Sam and Lauren for their outstanding support, professionalism and empathy. If ever we need to move house again, only Keenan's will do and we recommend them without hesitation.

GoogleKeenans, sold us our new house but in doing so forgot to tell us that it was a probate house which means it took 6 months to complete. If keenans have told us up front that the house was probate we would have likly not bid on it and gone else where. They also repeatedly called us every Thursday hassling us all the way through for progress on paperwork which was rearly to do with our solicitor not us. The majority of the paperwork was stalled due to probate which was a matter in there hands not ours hence we were waiting for them but we didn't hassle them for it. But they thought if fine to repeatedly call us on other matters. Then the vendor decided to give us a 7 day ultimatum or they will pull out and put the house back on the market, due to the process taking to long, the process was this length due to the probate somthing we beleave means the house shouldn't have been put on the market untill the probate proceeding had been finished. It was a very poorly organised sale in out opinion.

GoogleWell what can you say about estate agents other than they sell your homes. Spoken to a few who were just not that interested until we contacted KEENANS. We then met Simon who came to value our home. He was so professional in helping us find our best potential and what to do to attract new buyers. Taking on from his advice the house sold within 24 hours of going on the market. Sold for well above the asking price. Would definitely recommend KEENANS to anyone who wants to sell or buy there home. All the staff have been very professional.

TrustpilotCommunication could have saved our experience
The whole renting process with Keenans has been quite difficult from our viewing of our current property we fell in love and set a moving date which is where hell unfolded. The whole week before we were chasing for our contracts to sign which has the incorrect date on which we will be chasing to correct - arriving at the property on key exchange day was possibly the most stressful day of my life, we had no power, no heating and the property was dirty and still full of the previous occupiers things. Whether the letting agent or the landlords fault I would expect this to all be rectified and sorted for us to arrive or even jusy a phone call to let us know..baring in mind this had already been pushed back 3 days. We spent 2 days chasing our electric provider, we missed Christmas parties, we had the most stressful week. Eventually after asking to speak with me a manager twice on the evening the lovely Emma finally contacted us, she arranged for a gent called Anthony to come out who managed to help us get the support we needed to get the power back on. We eventually move in another 2 days later than planned. Emma completely went above and beyond to try and fix what was a horrific situation, even getting someone around to clean on such sort notice! She did everything within her power to ensure that myself and my fiancé could comfortably live at the property and we could sort out all the other bits afterwards. Minor issues still stand, which we will be picking up on the new year however having spoken to Alex when there were some issues with our oven I am hopeful we can get everything all ironed out and finally feel like this is our home. What I feel this situation could have been fixed with is some communication, it could have been avoided it needing to be escalated up to Emma if we’d have just been kept in the loop.

Finally an estate agent who cares: Keenans have been very helpful and responsive throughout the process of selling our property with expert advice and tips. But it gets better than that. On the day of an important viewing we weren't feeling well, our cleaner had let us down and we were not ready for the viewing. Jack Truelove of Keenans turned up. He immediately asked "how can I help?" and then went to work, helping us to get the house ready for the viewing. I swear I even saw him whizz around with our Dyson and a cloth to get the place to look it's best. The viewers turned up and... put in an offer (!) which we accepted. Jack's positive "can do" attitude shines through in all communication with him and we are sure that this is also what made the difference with the buyers. Thank you.

I have both bought and sold numerous properties through Keenans in Clitheroe from a 5 bedroomed 3 acre barn conversion to a 2 bedroomed flat.They were not always easy sales and required a good understanding of the market backed by an outstanding marketing team.As a vendor or purchaser you are always kept up to date with the progress between the legal representatives on either side of the transaction. Keenans are definitely the go to agent if you are considering a move.
