I have given an overal review of my customer experience of 5 stars, based on all staff I have interacted with, especially Sharon Binns who's "can do " attitude and nothing is too much trouble resonated with us, especially as she fought hard to get us the ceramic flooring we wanted. Neil Whitford, a true professional, who goes the extra mile and is in constant contact with me, to ensure any issues/snags we have are taken care of swiftly. I totally accept that new builds have snags and I will revisit this review at a later date (we have only been In a month) with an update to see if everything has been taken care of to our satisfaction. So far overall, all staff strive for customer satisfaction, which is far derived from all the negative comments about Gleeson homes.

Been amazing from start to finish, had a few small snags once moved in and all has been sorted within a timely manner. Couldn’t be happier with my new home and I trust that should anything come up they will be on hand to help sort it.Sharon and Josh kept in touch throughout, from sale to completion.The site manager was fabulous, only met him at site when we were viewing the property being built but he was able to answer any questions I had and since moving in if we have needed anything, even down to a tin of paint for a few marks we made moving in they have been straight round. I have had multiple phone calls since moving in to make sure we are settled in and checking if we have anything that needs checking or snagging. I can’t fault the build it’s perfect! So so pleased with our new home.Thank you to the wonderful team at Rainsborough Park, Knottingley

Tyrone three bed Gleeson home

From reservation, Mary George, Sales Executive was amazing. The journey of buying my lovely Gleeson home was faultless, and I was made to feel very special. When I got the keys to my Tyrone, and viewed it complete, I was do happy with the quality, customer service, and site team, mentioning Ian Storrie, Site Manager, and Chris Large who was the assistant at the time. I absolutely love my house, it is so cheap to run, I had a small number of defects, which were dealt with and fixed in a timely manner. I love the area I live in, the best move I have ever made. Buying our first Gleeson Home

The process of buying our first Gleeson home couldn’t have been made easier by the Sales Executive Sophie Murray. As we were first time buyers, Sophie Explained everything in detail and was always available if we needed any questions answered. Her communication throughout was excellent. Sophie’s attention to detail made our experience so personal and special.We can’t thank Sophie enough for her support and hard work. The site manager Nick of Brushwood Gardens has been so helpful in getting all our defects sorted. Overall we are so happy with our Gleeson home and would definitely recommend to other buyers.

First time buyers

As first time buyers we looked around many different organisations and found the show homes at Wragby and customer service with Scott (Sales Executive) the best. In Dec 2023 we moved into our new build at Hawthorn Fields, Wragby. Scott was fantastic with communication, support and advice and made the process seamless. Upon hand over we had a thorough walk through and we were pleased with the result. A year on and Scott is still on site, happy to offer support and help with questions. Scott is an asset to the Gleeson team and we would 100% recommend this process.

I’ve given 1 star only because can’t give zero stars.

Pinfold park Bridlington. I’ve given 1 star. Only because you have to give something to do this review. Gleeson are the worst company. Their customer service is disgraceful. They make out when trying to sell yu a property that they are here to help. At first they came to fix there mistakes and the people on the ground the real grafters are great. It’s the customer service and management. They are happy now that money is in the bank. I’ve been trying for months to get a problem resolved that is an oversight by them but they are saying it’s something I did but this is not the case. It’s a simple thing to resolve that is part of the warranty but customer care if yu can call them that and management are not abiding by the warranty. Which is absolutely unacceptable. We only want what’s right. Which is what they say to yu before yu buy but this is not the case on there part. Disgusting attitude from this company. Reading most of the reviews I’m obviously not the only one. Do not buy from Gleeson. I wish I had never bothered.plot 87. Typical. This just proves that Gleeson are a bad company. Hence my original post. Do not buy of this conning company.

From the outset Scott in the sales office was brilliant, he explained the whole process in good detail, he let us know when he was on holidays and who to contact in his absence, we got delayed due to our house sale falling through and Scott was so helpful in keeping the house we had reserved for us even though we were about five months behind our original schedule. Can’t thank Scott enough. The handover with Scott and Dave (site manager) was also done with ease. We have no plans on moving again anytime soon and would not hesitate to recommend Gleeson homes

Squirrel fold- amazing staff

We are looking at purchasing a property at squirrel fold in Bradford. We currently live in a new build which we need to sell. Jon has been dealing with us the whole time, and he is fantastic, he has been supportive throughout the whole process, he has pointed us in the right direction and is now helping to sell our current house. He goes out of his way to care for his customers and adds that personal touch, he is always asking how we are and asking about our little boy. He is now taking and sorting the sale of our current house to make it a smooth transition for us to buy our new home.This also reflects on all the staff at squirrel fold.

Shout out to Shelly & Sue in the office and Colin the Ass.site manager.Have had a great experience during my correspondence with Shelly and Sue. Very informative and supportive from the first day of inquiry, during application process and right to the completion day. They have made adjustments for me on days I was not able to visit, they are understanding of the situations that may arise and make changes according to that for my ease.The project and vision was explained throughout the application and on completion day, had my questions answered in a timely manner. Colin is great, the home demonstration was detailed and consoled me on the concerns i had while checking out my property. He also stated that they will be present for any help needed for the future should an issue arise (though highly doubt there will be any problems).There is much support from the team here at Rhodes Point and can't recommend it enough.Thank you to the team!

Firbeck Fields is beautiful…

The site at Firbeck Fields is beautiful the lay out is amazing.The houses are fantastic style,fixtures top spec everything and prices are very good you get alot of house.IF I were to move again I would research Gleesons sites and not hesitate to buy another.The service I received from the team on site was first class Sales Manager Christine was professional,knowledgeable,meticulous, patient, friendly and passionate about her role and customers she supported me at every step nothing was to much trouble.When you are buying the most expensive thing in your life you need someone to be there and Christine was.From start to finish it all went great and straight fwd.Darren the site construction manager was brilliant on the inspection explained everything clearly and I was reassured now I’ve moved in I will still have support.I can’t praise to the site enough the team and Gleesons JN

Greenfield Park Development

Greenfield Park DevelopmentWe went to see the Greenfield Park Development in April and we were made very welcome by the sales representative Deborah Kirtland. Deborah showed us around the show home and we immediately decided that we wanted to purchase one of the properties. The process from reservation to completion was stressful due to solicitors not working to deadlines. Deborah kept in contact with us on a very frequent basis, letting us know what had happened with the property we had reserved and then when things started to go wrong with our buyer and solicitor she bent over backwards for us. We strongly believe that if it hadn’t of been for the work that Deborah did on our behalf we would have lost our new home. We love our new home and cannot thank Deborah enough for everything she did for us. She is a very approachable and friendly lady and excellent at her job, going above and beyond for us. Gleeson Homes, Deborah Kirtland is a credit to your company and worth her weight in gold.

Would 100% recommend

Myself and my partner found a house we liked online, I immediately requested to view this house. Dina contacted me very quickly and was able to fit us in for a viewing of the property the next day. Dina has been keeping in touch with us throughout and has been patient with our questions. With us being first time buyers we weren’t exactly sure about the whole process, however Dina has been very helpful! I would just like to say a huge thank you to Dina for being so lovely, approachable and helpful! Also Alison who works in one of the site offices was also very lovely! Springfield Meadows

I've recently moved into the old show home at Springfield Meadows. There were a few teething issues going through the process, as there is with many things, but all in all I've had a great experience. Catherine and Yvonne have been attentive and have been willing to help every step of the way, even after completion. Had two issues that I picked up after my home demo, both of which were fixed within a few days. When I call the site managers Paul and Mark, they answer promptly and are happy to help. Overall, so far, I have had a good experience. I hope it continues!

Gleeson homes is an amazing organisation. My first visit to Gleeson homes was on a friend’s recommendation. On entering the office my intention was mainly to make enquiries, but everything changed when I stepped into their office at BD7 2AY and met Ginell Garrop the sales executive. She welcomed me with a contagious smile and explained all the process involved in owning a house and was patient and attentive to my concerns, she explained all that I needed to know to my satisfaction, she was polite, pleasant and professional in her approach.When it was time to purchase my extras, she gave me all the assistance and guidance that I needed as a first time buyer to purchase all the necessary items that is needed to make my house a home.She liaised with other stakeholders to know what level my application has reached and gave me at least weekly update on my mortgage application, what has been done and what is yet to be done, at moments when I was confused and did not know what to do she always assisted me and took away the anxieties.She assisted me with guidance on my paperwork and when I had concerns she sorted them in real time.Ginell made me to be on course to achieving my dreams when I least expected to do so Keep doing what you know how to do best (Sales), you are an asset, you are a golden fish that has no hiding place.Great job, keep it up.

I've just reserved my plot in Bradford, the sales team are top notch, and the service is excellent, they explain everything to you with transparency, so no hidden costs, their processes and checks are excellent and everything is clear and concise. Glesson has strung us along for over two years telling us yes, this will be fixed, we'll get that repaired then they refuse to do so, saying there is no proof of the conversation. even when you provide proof they still refuse to fix the issues. Yes, their houses are reasonably priced but don't expect any after-sales support once they have your money. I still have outstanding jobs that were on my snag list when I bought the house 2 years and 2 months ago that haven't been fixed, and Gleeson has no intention of fixing them. The work that needs completing was agreed to by the builder we have it in writing and they find any excuse not to fix it.At one point after I bought the house they dug up my entire drive without any notification or permission. Avoid this builder as all costsIt's interesting to see that Gleeson responded to this review by giving me the same email address that has given me the runaround, for the past 2 years and 3 months.This is an attempt to try and make it look like Gleenson is willing to fix the issues, When in reality, they have no intention. I'm seriously out of pocket because of this builder. Gleeson has all the information in writing; at first, the excuse was I gave them too much information, and then it was not all on the same email thread.

I first had the privilege to meet Natalie and Rachel back in June this year when i started to look for property in this area and i was moving up here from Norfolk. Our gleeson experience

Our gleeson experience so far has been fairly smooth sailing. It is going to be mine and my partners first home. The system is pretty organised and easy to follow, so the buying process in general is pretty easy going. It is definitely a good company to use if you’re a first time buyer and you’re a bit confused with how buying a home can work. I can’t yet comment on the actual building or home. Our sales executive, Alex has been helpful & transparent. The home is currently still in development, so Alex has been providing us with weekly updates which we really look forward to seeing each week so that we know where our plot is up to. It’s exciting to see it coming together as time goes on. As this is our first home, we don’t like being in the dark with what’s going on, so receiving updates for us is really reassuring and helpful. As we can’t yet speak on the actual home itself, only our experience so far, we will leave another review after completion & moving in

We would definitely have bought from her but unfortunately Gleeson homes have got very expensive and as we are trying to downsize to one of their bungalows this was not now possible .But we would be very happy to deal with Debra in the future if circumstances changed as she is definitely an asset to your company .

MONARCH GREEN WILLINGTONTook a day out to view the New homes at the New Gleeson development in Willington.Debs Kirkland the sales executive showed us around the show homes this included a beautiful bungalow we were very taken back with the room sizes. We also viewed a three bedroom, upgrade's are stunning. We fell in love with the downstairs shower room/toilet exceptionally well sized. The driveways took us back plenty of room for two cars. We had a drive around the area and it’s quiet with beautiful surroundings. Debs introduced us to the site manager who gave us some information about the beautiful homes. So pleased we took the time to go and view the development. Thank you Debs for the cup of coffee and the information you provided us today.
