Over 2022, I contacted them to arrange viewings for a handful of properties in the local area. I enquired about doing viewings and they said they'll let me know. But they never contacted me back, and then when I chase a few days later; the properties already had viewings. When this happened 3 times in 2 weeks, I decided to give up trying. I know the market moves quick in the M25, but if they gave me a call; I could have easily attended the viewings at any time. There was often a bit of pompousness to their tone, which me wonder if my estuary accent was putting me lower on their agenda. They also don't update their portals, so their properties still appear as available for days after STC, wasting your time enquiring about such properties.

I put my house on the market with Hubbard Torlot just as the house market collapsed. But, despite this, they marketed it quickly and very effectively, such that it was soon under offer. Despite the potential purchaser being committed, there were problems with their purchaser because a previous mortgage offer was withdrawn. I decided to ride this out which meant it ended up taking a year to reach a successful conclusion, Hubbard Torlot respected my decisions and worked incredibly hard to steer everything towards a happy outcome. I can't praise the entire team enough and it's an easy five star review.

I really enjoyed my experience working with Ian. I found him to be very kind and patient - and most importantly, he genuinely cared about finding me the right house. I have dealt with many estate agents. But Ian really isn't like any of the others - not aggressive, pushy or salesy. Honest to a fault. I had a tough time finding the right house - Ian knew my expectations, and ultimately got me the perfect house where I am very happy. For that, I am truly grateful for Ian's efforts and time. Just called for a friend, asked how many rentals they had available, before I was even asked a question I was told we don’t have any properties, my response was on your website it claims you have 13 properties, he said on right move, I said no on your page, his response, yeah well we are in the process of removing them all, we only do sales here, when I asked where the rental office is, this is the same office we just don’t have anything. So I asked if he is aware of any agency’s in the area, his response was go online or have a look around, I have done both, I’ve found to let signs in the area, I’ve found your name on them, wasn’t interested, clearly made some assumptions and decided they couldn’t help (didn’t ask me 1 question about my friend) . So my friend works, she is an NHS nurse, she has 2 children and is a widow, I guess she doesn’t meet their criteria.
