Moving house can be one of the most stressful experiences, and ours certainly had its fair share of challenges. Throughout it all, Elaine and the team at Hubbard Torlot were absolutely outstanding. From the very beginning, they were professional, proactive, and incredibly supportive. Communication was excellent, we were kept fully informed at every stage, and any questions or concerns were dealt with quickly and honestly. What really stood out was their persistence and calm approach when things became complicated. They went above and beyond to keep the sale moving forward, often stepping in to resolve issues before they had a chance to escalate. A special mention must go to our Sales Progressor, Mitchell, who was particularly supportive throughout. His reassurance, responsiveness, and determination made a real difference during the more difficult moments, and we always felt he genuinely had our best interests at heart. Their knowledge of the market and the process gave us real confidence, but just as importantly, they showed genuine care and understanding during what was, at times, a very trying situation. Thanks to their dedication and hard work, we successfully completed our sale, and we’re incredibly grateful. We found that Hubbard Torlot provided a rare balance of business professionalism with a very personal and friendly approach. In our experience Ian and the team really understood that selling a family home can sometimes be an emotionally complex experience. In our case the house was a childhood family home and represented far more than just bricks and mortar. The task therefore involved a demanding mix of skills balancing practical, financial and the often overlooked emotional aspects of these transactions. Achieving an outstanding performance in appreciating each of these aspects is certainly where Hubbard Torlot excels. We had the task of selling our sister's house following her sad passing, last year. Hubbard and Torlot helped us so much, especially as we were out of the country. They took charge of the whole sale, without us having to return to the UK at all during the process. They facilitated all the personnel who needed access, they read the meters and forwarded results to us. They organised the final house clearance, and stayed in contact with our solicitors, throughout. Their house valuation proved to be excellent and fair, at the same time. Elaine Torlot, was warm, sensible and totally professional, as were all the team. A very daunting task was made straightforward for us, and we would like to thank Elaine and all the team, very much for their expertise and caring help. Ian has gone above and beyound in advising us on the market and when a buyer was found, given we live abroad, he managed everything making the process very simple. We were delighted with his recommendation with respect to a local solicitor to undertake the conveyancing and his communication through the sales process, right up to completion, was second to none. He even sent through final meter readings for the Gas, Electric and Water given we were not local.
