We did use Bridges for a purchase of a property recently. For few months we were contacted by phone in regards of updates etc., but when it came to actually being informed that the purchase fell through, that was done by email and not easy to reach over the phone when called back. How convenient and unprofessional. But, in general, I prefer honest estate agents, not many around. Saying all that, thanks to Bridges and us loosing the first house, we found a much better property, estate agent was brilliant and transparent, easy communication, the whole purchase took 7 weeks from offer to completion (and that is including Christmas break), so could not be happier. And - the other property - still hasn't been completed on, so I guess karma.

Awful experience with Bridges Estate Agents having applied and been accepted for a shared ownership property. Subsequent applicants were permitted to queue jump. Complained, not resolved and then abandoned with no further subsequent service provided. Recommend avoid so as not to be very disappointed.

If you value your privacy and confidentiality do not use Bridges.They managed to let someone in my street know they’d valued our house even though we hadn’t instructed them.They then disclosed more personal information to a potential buyer - even though we opted not to use their services.I have written apologies which they’re now denying, will let the ICO make their own mind up.Their valuations are a joke as well!Do yourself a favour steer well clear.

GoogleWe purchased our house through Bridges and from start to finish, they were professional, knowledgable and gave a great customer service. Iain from Bridges Frimley in particular stood out for going over and above his position to help us with being a witness signature during the pandemic and talking us through the legal process and what should happen next etc. Would happily recommend Bridges to anyone looking to sell their property soon.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleBridges did a great job of selling my house. Before signing with Bridges I talked to a couple of high street and online estate agents. Bridges impressed most in terms of their professionalism and enthusiasm to market the property coupled with a realistic valuation. They marketed the house very effectively, organising a large number of views, following up with buyers and generating multiple offers. They then negotiated very effectively with the interested parties to get the best price for the house, in the end achieving 98% of the asking price. The sale subject to contract was concluded within about 2-3 weeks. Their post sale progression was effectively handled and made things easy for me. Overall I always found Bridges friendly, straightforward and easy to deal with. So a well deserved 5 stars

Very poor service, Practically wanted a mortgage in place before even a viewing. Or of course you could talk to their financial advisor LOL!!Scam Company!

Dear Mr Buyer, Thank you for taking the time to leave your thoughts on your experience with the Bridges team, however we are disappointed to read that you were unhappy with the service you received. We do indeed ask all buyers to be in a position to buy a property before taking a look inside our vendors homes. Which is why we would also offer for you to speak to our recommended financial adviser if you do not have a mortgage in place or have taken the first steps to be in the position to buy. As you can imagine our vendors are keen to only have buyers view their home if that are able to proceed, if this is not the case we would always recommend a virtual viewing until your circumstances are understood by our team, this is a practice most agents have adapted to since the pandemic and with such a buoyant market it is a practice that works for our vendors aswell.
