I have been looking for a house for more than 6 months, many agents do not call me back to view other properties due to high demand. However, Martin was very professional, very calm and gave me hope. When I went for my first ever viewing he made sure I do not miss out and invited me to view another property the same day. Martin is very thoughtful and extremely helpful. Phoned to enquire on two for properties for sale with boards up, which were not on their website. Was told all staff were in a meeting. Phoned back in the afternoon and was told they were all too busy to talk to me, would call me back. I was speaking to the lettings person who could not help. Eventually got to speak to someone who said the two properties were not available and the boards were up in error. He could not help as they had too much work to do, due to just coming back after Christmas holidays, staff shortage and sickness. Whilst I appreciate this is a busy period the best thing would be to update the website and remove the boards then I would not have needed to trouble the office at all.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

I booked a viewing with one of the agents, I took an early leave from work, travelled for an hour. After waiting about 5-10 minutes outside the place I call them and I am told that due to 'unforeseen circumstances' Ronneil Dormer couldn't make it today. No message, no calls to even notify me on the day. I was also told that I'll receive a call the next day with to rebook it. And guess what, that call never comes, nevermind an apology.

Very negative experience. Arranged a viewing for 12.30 with them. Came at 12.35. There was noone at the place. Called at the agency - told me they will check. Noone called back. So I called them again in 10min. Told me the agent was at the place at 12.30 and already left, and noone will come. Very disappointed with an attitude. Don’t recommend them unless you are ready for bad organisation with bad attitude to clients.

Awful company specifically romael and Steven. So unprofessional, no care at all for its customers. The house i was buying fell through and not once did any one check in 2 hours before completion. Once you pay them the money they are not interested at all. Go with anyone else they will not look after you. They only care about themselves. They will not check in with you and will avoid your emails and calls. Avoid like the plague... if i could give them minus 10 i would. I will never use Barnard Marcus again nor recommend.

Absolutely incompetent and shocked in the mess up of a deposit. As a tenant, things were not done clearly from the beginning, and it took ages to find out, what happened to our deposit (finally got resolved in the end). But all the notes on the system, about the deposit was unclear for a very long time. Even the landlord fully agrees that Barnard Marcus was an awful estate agency to deal with. Agreement and referencing fees are a joke: £340 as a tenant, and triple that as a landlord. Stay far away.

The worst experience after I left the house the agency doesn’t even bother to look at your needs or they did not even try to search for new house to rent they did not even bother to pick up the call their operating manager Mr Garath he didn’t not even pick the call.
