I have been using the mortgage services of Sharone through Barnard Marcus since I bought a house through them in 2019 and she has always made the mortgage and remortgage process so straightforward and easy. She is always quick to respond to emails and questions and very patient in explaining the different processes and time frames to me. Most recently she has helped me arrange a mortgage so I could move down to the coast and she took all the stress out of the situation. She explains options clearly and thoroughly and had regular, friendly check ins throughout the process. Thank you so much!

I chose Barnard Marcus because they were local to the house I wanted to sell. My main contact was Romael who guided me through the complex process of selling a property. He recommended an excellent solicitor: Taylor-Rose MW. The sale was complex due to a variety of factors; it took nearly 10 months to complete. However Romael and his team kept me informed and offered good advice. When my first buyer took too long to commit, Romael re-listed and found a second successful buyer. I despaired I would ever sell the property but the BM team worked hard to find me a buyer.

Seller Feedback. It started with the senior negotiator, Natasha telling me how excited and confident they were that they could sell my property with a high valuation. They valued the property. I was immediately suspicious when they did not want to sell on a percentage commission basis. Instead, they have a fixed fee. Then to no surprise, they began to reduce the price of the property. What was more ridiculous, I started receiving calls and emails asking if they can value my property after it had not only already been valued by them but an offer had been placed. Weeks into the transaction with my own conveyance solicitor, I then had their appointed solicitors approaching me to instruct. This property had no legal, financial or structural issues and it took about 8 months to sell, with 4 months to complete the transaction. Moreover, I had a tenant which I was asked to remove and then the transaction took a further 2 months at my expense. I cannot hold Bernard Marcus solely responsible for the latter. But at no point did I feel that they were representing me or my interests as their client.

Rebecca Southwell helped us in purchasing a property right from the scratch. Very pleased with the service from Bernard Marcus. I mainly dealt with Steven, Shariane and Romael. Steven done most of the viewings followed by Shariane and I would highly recommend both of them as they really put the effort in (we had another agent before them and there was a big difference in their approach to selling). The feedback from the viewings was excellent (which you really really need) and forthcoming rather than you having to chase them for it. So it's a big 5 stars from me to Steven, Shariane and Romael for all their help and support in what can be a stressful process.

I would high recommend this branch!!!
