GoogleI left a positive review for Benham & Reeves Surrey Quays two years ago due to the way the team helped out when I first became a tenant in a flat they managed. I particularly mentioned Maria for her helpfulness back then.
This review is two years later, and Maria has continued to be stellar throughout. Whenever we had any issues at all, she was always friendly, helpful and responsive.
Most recently I had some issues that I was dealing with of an urgent nature that required paperwork from the agency. Maria as always handled my request with care and attention, and made sure the entire process was as smooth as possible.

Recently purchased a property with the help of Thomas Grossi who was very professional and always there to help when needed. We did have some delays with exchange/completion, mainly due to the lockdown and owners living overseas, but got there at the end. I have used BR lettings service (Wapping branch) as owner since 2016. Their sales team, seasoned and professional, in my opinion is a 4 star. Their property mgt team, over the past 4 years with a recent change, remains, over the entire period slow to respond and deserve a 3 star rating while their accounts dept a 5*. The accounts dept has been consistent and efficient in the delivery of their service to the customer. They are the star in the team!

Avoid at all cost. The worst estate agents. First of all took them 2 weeks to call me back just to book a viewing. Once I viewed I put a deposit down then took them another 10 days for them to turn around and say you haven’t passed referencing even tho I was paying 6 months in advance. I provided all the documentation that was requested they contacted my employer and previous landlord both giving a good reference.Benham use LetRef to do reference checks they are a complete scam.They had a better offer on property. They have refused to return my holding deposit. I will see them in court. Avoid at all cost.

Hi Rizgar, sorry to see your complaint here as after looking into this, our records show :1. You were shown the property on the 3rd2. The holding deposit forms (which are contractually binding) were discussed, read and signed by you and you paid the deposit on the 4th3. There was never any mention of you paying 6 months rent in advance4. You failed the reference process on the 8th and you were given the reasons for this. The purpose of having such in-depth referencing is to protect both tenant and landlord and the forms you signed were very clear about our rigorous pre-tenancy checks.With regards, Emily Taylor, B&R
