Recently had the pleasure of working with Gascoigne-Pees to arrange our property tenancy, and I am beyond impressed with their professionalism and efficiency. From the initial communication advising that the current tenant was vacating the property through to the finalization of the new tenancy agreement, the team (in particular Richard H) was incredibly responsive, professional, knowledgeable, coordinated, and organized. The entire process, from updates on current/potential viewings, and arrangement of contractors to address repairs in readiness for the new tenant through to the finalization of the lease, the entire process was seamless. It was evident that Gascoigne-Pees/Richard H genuinely cared about both their tenants and property owners, ensuring that everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. I had a unique experience using GP, as their requirements (though many), seemed reasonable and more in the interests of their client, than mine really. And that’s quite understandable, considering it’s about a whole new premises. From speaking with Paige (& Joe) on day one, till getting the keys from Haj (her boss) at the end, I’d say the process was seamless. A lot to read and sign but it all ended successfully in the end. And for this, I’m rating them well. Let’s hope the relationship blossoms to even better heights as we aim to buy our new house soon.

Having lost my Dad, I had to sell his house but I have never sold or bought a property before,so had no clue what it involved. I find it almost laughable how this letting agency behaves. When you’re signing a contract, they bend over backwards to act friendly and helpful, but the second you’re moving out, the entire façade collapses. Their true colors show, and suddenly you’re dealing with rudeness, attitude, and a complete lack of basic professionalism. My experience with this agency at the end of my tenancy was extremely negative, and one staff member in particular, Freya, made the situation even worse. In my opinion, she spoke to me with absolutely no respect and seemed to think that talking to tenants in a dismissive, condescending manner was acceptable. From my interaction with her, it’s clear she has a lot to learn about how to communicate professionally. Some of the comments she made were completely unnecessary, and honestly, she would benefit from learning when it’s better to keep certain remarks to herself rather than speaking to people the way she did. This kind of attitude is unacceptable in any customer-facing role, and I strongly believe she needs proper customer service training. My overall impression is that she is not equipped to speak with tenants in a respectful or professional way, and that absolutely needs to be addressed. No member of staff has the right to speak to me the way she did. Because of this, I will be taking this complaint further through the appropriate channels, and I will be sharing my experience publicly so other tenants are aware of how they may be treated. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable, and I refuse to let it go unaddressed.

I would like to specifically thank Samantha for being amazing at her job, she really sold us the property we’ve just moved into, she’s not only found us an amazing place she made sure to help us guarantee the place. My parents first language isn’t English meaning that it can be a bit harder to understand although she didn’t let that interfere the process and allowed us an easy getting everything sorted. I’d like to also mention Travis who was also great and welcoming every time we come to the shop and specially for welcoming us with a big smile, polite manners and great attitude when handing the keys over.

Warning - avoid this company at all costs!!

Tom is extremely unprofessional and dishonest. We accepted an offer back in May from a buyer on the basis that the buyer was a cash purchaser. We were then told in July that this was not the case and he was applying for a mortgage. Only when we were ready to exchange and complete in August the buyers solicitors informed us that the buyer had a related transfer of equity, unbelievable. We were told it could take up to 6 months to sort out. We were very disappointed about being kept in the dark about this so late in the transaction. Had we been privy to this we would not have accepted the offer in the first place.
