GoogleAbsolutely the most unhelpful bunch , and there is 0 information sharing going on, can’t seem to communicate between themselves what’s going on. Have some sympathy towards people who have to travel hours down and look to houses.

GoogleWith great pleasure I can say my daughter has finally got rid of this sham of a company, I cant believe you could possibly get so many rude ,people who have no empathy or understanding under one roof ,if you have the misfortune of dealing with these people ,log everything via e mail ,remember you can contact the ombudsman, shelter and environmental health services who were all excellent helping my daughter , Mmmmmmm looking on past reviews not looking good when people with the same name putting 5stars on who work in the same company are you able to rate your own company ?

GoogleI only gave one star, because there is no option to give zero. No sense for urgent cases, unreasonable delays on fixings and extremely bad customer service. We are talking about months of delays on a single window replacement and so on. Not even caring about things are harmful for your child. If you are after a place, where the people doesn't give anything about you or the issues you have got, this is the right one.

GoogleI would strongly recommend avoiding their property management service. They took their share of the rent until there were actual maintenance issues to be attended to. It then took 6 months to obtain basic quotations for some of the work and the rest I resolved independently. Further they initially requested approval for a job at an amount of GBP 5,000 before I suggested more quotes were necessary and then the final amount of GBP 2,000 was agreed. I was compensated by the return of 3 months fees (not nearly enough for the time they wasted). They also took a further GBP 200 from my account because I terminated the contract with them with their tenant remaining which although in the terms is clearly unethical after they have clearly agreed there was a lack of service on their part by the fact that they paid my compensation!?! They had the cheek to suggest the amount I had been compensated was ‘more than generous’. Unprofessional, incompetent and rude.

GoogleWhen looking for property to rent, my flat mate and I tried multiple agents and viewed properties with each. We found the properties offered by Martin and Co. to be of superior quality to others, the staff to be very accommodating, professional, and patient, and the fees to be reasonable, comparatively to other agencies. We're now settling into a beautiful flat in a very short space of time, thanks to staff at Martin and Co guiding us through the process!

Googlecan’t reccomend Martin & Co enough, from buying my first buy to let through Martin & Co they’ve taken over the full process, informing me of all the legal requirements and arranged for the house to be lettable to tenants. Now 6 month in i have what can only be described as a perfect tenant. Thanks to Martin & Co taking over the management of the property, the app where I can see all maintenance issues, legal docs include ast, cp12 and statements is a god send and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks for everything again

FacebookComplete rip off, refused to provide receipt of a refund my 9 month pregnant niece was due, came up with a number of different excuses and still no receipt and still no refund. Do not use this company.

They stole £650 of our money & charged £250 admin fees for a house we couldn’t move into as it was a mess & dangerous thanks to their lack of managing the property. We didn’t get to move in & they kept our money. That’s £900 of our savings that they lined their grubby pockets with. Contact their head office.

GoogleKeep away from them especially students, reported things and no one bothered to fix them and had to phone them numerous times to get my daughter bond/deposit back, they don't care as long as money is there, disgusting rip off merchants, put my daughters safety at risk not getting garage door fixed, thank god there wasn't a fire, they still kept £50 off her deposit, steer clear

GoogleMartin & Co Sunderland offer not only a professional service but the dedicated team are available for any questions asked, one on one time in the office and the friendly approach makes the confusing / stressful moving process for tenants a lot easier than many other agents in the area. Never had an experience with a company like this previously and I can confirm that they well deserve any positive recognition their service draws.
