I was a first time landlord and never knew where to start.Clan Gordon done a site visit explained what certificates/inspections needed to be undertaken,arranged for the works and I had a tenant moving in within 2 days of the property going on the market.they provideebregular updates on inspections including photos and respond promptly to any queries I raise. I can honestly say I would not consider moving letting agent even the competitor was offering significantly lower rates!!

Absolutely diabolical company. Moved into a property that checked our referees and were quite happy, without any communication we were told Clan Gordon were suddenly in charge of our rent. Suddenly each month turned into a battle!! If you asked politely to do some DIY i.e. put up a shelf it turned into a battle field of questions like we were in the wrong... If you did DIY behind their back i.e. put up a light bulb it was seen as you were hiding something and you may disguised an issue therefore they interrogated you. I never missed a rent payment but yet always felt like the villain. To add insult to injury when I left the premises i was rented they refused to pay me back my £500 stating idiotic reasons. Never rent a property with this company unless you like to argue and can afford to not get your desposit!!!! apparently i can't reveiw without giving at least one star but seriously they ain't worth that!!! if you are a student or new into a professional i would seriously suggest to avoid like the plague. unfortunately i learnt the hard way

Clan Gordon is looking after a property owned by my son while he is in Australia and have proved themselves to be the consummate letting agent. They found a good and responsible tenant quickly and always deal with any maintenance issues effectively and efficiently. They are easy to get hold of, always call back if requested to do so and have offered good advice to my son on all matters from landlord registration to income issues. If you or a member of your family is looking to let a flat in Edinburgh this agency is highly recommended.
