By far the best estate agency we have ever used - trustworthy, honest, transparent and helpful. The team at Bychoice have been incredible - they genuinely care and want to help with every sale/purchase, they follow up with every viewing and I never had to chase them for an update and they did everything they could to help and offer guidance. The price that they valued our house at was very fair and they do not try and over promise a price as other agencies to just to get you in the door then suggest reducing after - they offer you a fair, honest opinion. They are not pushy sales people that promise you the world - they are honest wonderful people. After having multiple bad experiences with our agencies within the area, this one the only one I would trust and the only one I would recommend to others or use again for a sale or purchase. We also viewed a few houses with Bychoice and they never hounded you with follow ups or hounded our pushed you, they only ever recommended properties that were suitable and really listened to what we were looking for so we never viewed properties that were a waste of time like others do. Bychoice are professional, personable and just all round amazing. A huge thank you to to Ted, Olivia, Amelia and everyone else - you made selling our house a pleasant experience and we are beyond grateful!!

Avoid at all costs. Being a first timer buyer, no chain, we agreed to buy a bungalow for the asking price, the agent we were dealing with told us they would contact the owner and sort out the details but never got back to us.. Every time we rang for a update the agent we were dealing with (Olivia) was ‘out of the office’, but when I rang on a different phone number magically was in the office and answered the phone straight away. We were told there had been a higher offer placed on the property we had agreed to buy for the asking price, but magically the property is still on the market but they have raised the asking price a extra £20,000.. We had to constantly ring daily to try and even get a update on what was going on. On one phone call we were also told by another member of staff, a week after our original offer to buy the property for the asking price, our offer had not yet been given to buy seller (even though we had been told it had been submitted), I have since found out this is actually illegal. We were constantly misled with lies on who actually owned the property, one day it was a ‘trust’, then next it was a builder and a developer, then the next week a school.. We have since purchased a family home with another estate agent hassle free and months later have still not heard back from bychoice about our pending offer try to buy buying the property for the asking price. UPDATE: Since leaving this review on Google, bychoice have been calling me, leaving messages 'to clear things up', shame they didn't put in this much effort when trying to sell a property. At no point had we been told our offer had been declined. We were told 'we still cannot get a answer from the school, trust etc' until i checked the website and saw the property had gone up..

I'd very happily recommend the team at Bychoice to anybody looking to buy a property. We mainly dealt with (the wonderful) Olivia, ably assisted by Ted, but the wider team were equally helpful and friendly and efficient whenever I encountered them - a dream team, you might say :). Some specifics: they answer the phone quickly and take/pass on messages if the person you want isn't available; emails get replied to; questions are answered (no question too banal, in my experience, and I ask a LOT of questions); comms with vendors are quick and helpful (e.g. this week we couldn't find our new water meter. 24 hours later Olivia had found out where it is and helped us to locate it). They're friendly and human and empathetic if the buying process is delayed for a whole range of annoying reasons outside our/their control, and proactive in trying to resolve these annoying reasons where they can help. Basically, they're exactly what I'd now look for in an estate agent for any future sale/purchase. 100% recommend. 5 gold stars!!

Bychoice sold our property back in September 2020 and we would highly recommend them; the rate was competitive, they always showed up for viewings with plenty of time and throughout the selling process they kept us up-to-date with regular progress reports and were always quick to answer any of our queries whether by phone or email. We dealt specifically with Charlotte Bailey and she was fantastic. Professional, but also friendly, she made the whole process (which at times was complicated by our buyers solicitors) a lot less stressful! Thank you Charlotte.
