I purchased a property a few years back through Jacksons Estate Agents in Streatham and in particular James King. With an expanding family it was time for us to move on, due to the outstanding service I received when purchasing , it only seemed right to return to Jacksons in Streatham. To my delight I was greeted by James again, he recognised me and talked to me as if we had only spoken a few weeks before which was very comforting. James advised an asking price and backed it with an impressive catalogue of other properties he had sold locally. Once on the market the entire Jacksons team were courteous and professional in all communication I had with them and were very accommodating with viewing times. I wholeheartedly believe they recognised I have small children and ensured that viewings did not interrupt their routine. I am pleased to say that my property has been sold and I have moved into my new home. The only disappointment was that a move to a different area did not give me an opportunity to work in a greater capacity with James and his team. I have and would recommend Jacksons Estate Agents to anybody looking to buy, sell or let in Streatham.

We had a very positive experience buying our first flat through Jacksons. Firstly we got a proper service when looking, with Jamie (the agent) suggesting similar properties in the area and getting viewings to see them all in one evening. The communication was excellent, always available on the phone with no wasted time, every conversation was prompt and to the point. Jamie was great when we needed some extra bits from the seller to get it pushed over the line. All in all it was a stress free process and was all done in 10 weeks.

Finding a new home is not easy… However, I am so grateful for the support and help of our agent Sharon Alison. She so polite and friendly throughout the process of viewing and whenever I was confused and struggling to understand something she do explained it well. Had met so many agents before but I can’t say anything about it. And even we already moved and settle to the home. If anything trouble within the property they are going out to help you straightaway. Very fast action I will say… Keep it up a good work and hopefully in the future you will help me find my own perfect property… (not rented) hehehe but that’s the next chapter of my journey. David was a fantastic, dedicated and calmly positive agent, who worked incredibly hard to sell me this house. We were in touch for exactly a year and a day until I had the keys to my new house! We rented a flat via Jackson's for over 5 years. For the first 5 years of the tenancy the landlord managed the days to day tenancy and Jackson's only were involved for things like contract extensions and we had no issues. (Other then them trying to increase our rent in the hight of the pandemic, though this could have been just the landlord). In the last 6 or so months of the tenancy this changed to Jackson's managing everything, and we had continued issues. One staff member deleted our mortgage reference and delayed our application for about 3 weeks, they did viewings in the flat without letting us know and locked themselves in the flat (we only found out about the viewings because of this), they were very poor at communicating with us regarding our deposit once we moved and cause as many delays as possible with returning undisputed funds. We had other issues as well, but overall the communication and professionalism was poor and we are glad to no longer have to deal with this estate agents. We have raised a complaint with Jackson's formally and will be reporting the issues we dealt with to the property ombudsman.
