Very disappointed. I called to book a viewing, changed work and spent time with the mortgage broker checking affordability etc only to be told at 4pm the day before they have sold it. I should have been told others were viewing and it is possible it will sell. I tried to explain this politely to the person on the telephone who rather abruptly told me she only just took the offer. I am sure they must have know the viewing was before. Very poor service with customer service and lack of updates.

I understand your frustration particularly when you have taken time off work etc. I am sorry you feel you should have been informed of other interest, however decisions and offers can be made and accepted very quickly and if a vendors instructions are to cancel further viewings, this is what we must do as we act for the vendor. I appreciate from your point of view it looks like we are not communicating, but I assure you we do our very best to and we can only sell a property to one buyer. We received excellent service on the purchase of our new property from Viv McAuliffe. Viv has done everything she possible could to ensure that our purchase completed liaising with the elongated and complicated chain. She has worked tirelessly on our behalf despite the purchase taking 11 months due to endless setbacks and the initial chain breaking down. We were provided with regular weekly updates on progress which were really reassuring.I would have no hesitation in recommending Peter Clarke.

We bought through Peter Clarke recently and I have to say we were very impressed. The negotiation itself was straightforward and we reached a conclusion swiftly. However, the real difference was Melanie as the Sales Coordinator who kept things moving at a time when the sale can drag and a lack of communication between the lawyers can be frustrating. Melanie cut through this and we always felt very well informed. As and when we come to sell I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Unfortunately we have only had bad experiences with Peter Clarke. We have not only been met by miserable workers in the office who were clueless of our checking in and checking out of our rental property, we have had an enormous problem with their pandering to the landlord and providing us with no service.They are trying to money grab our deposit away with insufficient claims and extortionate prices.We cannot comment on buying and selling.if you want to live in a house with problems for over 7 months with no available fixes - living in a damp property, dodgy boiler and a broken window in the height of summer.Not acceptable and some of the worst rental landlords we have ever experienced.Would not recommend to my enemies.
We are really very sorry that your tenancy has not gone well.We have liaised with you, the landlord and subsequently provided contractors to help to resolve matters throughout the term.Items have been identified though on the check out report, after you vacated. We will work with you to get these matters addressed.We have protected your deposit in a rental deposit scheme called the Tenancy Deposit Scheme . There is independent adjudication over any disputed amounts, this is for your protection.Let us know how we can help further.

I have recently sold a flat with Peter Clarke that had been under offer for 9 month, due to problems with the sale rather than any fault of their own.. Throughout the whole process, they remained patient, responsive, helpful and gave great advice. I cannot remember ever having to chase them and they constantly went above and beyond. I was delighted with the whole service and would definitely use them again.
