As no comments were included with the rating, we were a little surprised, particularly as you are purchasing a property through us and no concerns were raised about our service during the process. The only issue made known to us related to delays with the legal conveyancing. We completely understand how frustrating this can be; however, these delays were largely due to the conveyancing timescales and the solicitor acting on your behalf. Throughout this period, we chased the file daily, maintained regular contact with you, and worked hard to progress matters, especially as the rest of the chain had been ready for some time. We always welcome feedback and would be happy to discuss your experience further if you feel there is anything else we could have done differently.

With over 30 years of experience, we pride ourselves on being very transparent regarding our fees and the way the system works in the letting’s industry. Part of the process includes the signing of the holding deposit form, before any money is paid to ourselves, where an applicant agrees to the terms and conditions. By signing this form, you agreed that the holding deposit is non-refundable if you failed referencing due to undisclosed adverse credit. We did ask you for your guarantor information, which was put forward to the Landlord, however the Landlord made the decision not to go ahead with your application after seeing the reference. Unfortunately, this is the process for many agents and I would advise you to disclose any adverse credit BEFORE going forward and agreeing to a reference. Good luck with your search for a property.
