I stayed at one of Ian Perks lovely flats in Stourbridge for 2 years and a half and never had an issue. The employees at the office are all very responsive and professional, they're also very caring and it couldn't be otherwise because Ian Perks himself is a delightful person. Whenever I had an issue to solve or even just a doubt, Ian or one of the agency was ready to help me and make things easier which made a huge difference to me. Recently I had to leave the flat for personal reasons but if I'll ever need another in Stourbridge area I won't hesitate a second to contact him. What could have been a stressful and difficult experience was simple and stress free thanks to the professionalism and personal touch shown by Ian and his team. Very poor experience with Ian Perks as a landlord, their communication is non existant, they once ignored all emails and issues for nearly a year before finally addressing some of the issues. They improved then fell back into no communication, there is also no single point of contact, you never know who will contact or respond to things and you have to copy in 6 people hoping one of them reads it. Lost one tenant and likely to lose another at this rate. I already left a similar review but it was removed somehow with no explanation. Only good things are they pay on time and did provide a good end of tenancy condition report. If you have a question about anything at all though don't expect a reply, ever.

Kept being told different things in regards to getting my money back, took over 15 days for them to process refund. Formal complaint made, awaiting response. Absolute joke of a company, left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Avoid, use someone else! I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them. Very disappointed!

I've been a tenant with this landlord for a number of years now and I wouldn't recommend them at all. Communication from them has been awful, they don't return calls or have the decency to respond to emails. We moved properties with this landlord recently and I'm struggling to get any answers from them regarding a deposit on old property. Nearly three weeks down the line and we are still in the dark.... extremely unprofessional!! Avoid!!! Clearly their priorities are will sales not on the letting side.

I recently instructed Ian Perks to sell my house. I was very impressed from start to finish in every aspect. The communication between us was excellent, calls were always answered promptly, messages passed on and calls returned, which is very important in house selling. Ian is a great negotiator with a wealth of experience and he is backed by a superb team of staff who are friendly and efficient. Ian has a fantastic knowledge of the local property market having several decades of experience. The marketing of the property was excellent; my house looked superb. I would highly recommend.

Gentlemen who show you around the properties are nice but the office staff are very rude and unreliable. If you ring to check the progress of an application they will snap at your telling you they will call when there's any updates but the only way you will find out an application is unsuccessful is when the property appears let on their site. I have been through other estate agents who will call just to get an idea of how the viewing went if I haven't applied yet this company can't even bother to let you know you haven't been successful in applying for one of their properties.
