We have experience with several local estate agents and Austin and Roe were by far the easiest to work with. I think the fact that they are local and independent allows them to stay very grounded in terms of the service they provide. They are really pleasant and accommodating but always professional. They listened as well as advised. They pushed the sale along helpfully when needed. The sales process was conducted very efficiently; all arrangements concluded punctually and as promised. GoogleOutstanding customer service 👍🏼 I have used Austin & Roe as both a buyer and seller and I can honestly say that their customer service was great, they were very responsive and attentive. I was especially impressed by Anna when she took the time to respond to an email enquiry of mine on a Saturday night, I was anticipating a reply during normal office hours on Monday but I was very impressed when I received a reply within minutes on a Saturday evening.... outstanding! I used them in 2019 ..never again More interested in looking good in social media than selling property..especially if a lower priced one . I didn't review at the time as the whole process made me ill . I went with DBROBERTS who found me a buyer in 2 weeks . Our seller was with A&R also and didn't have a good experience . Avoid

GoogleShocking. This viewing was arranged for an elderly relative having to travel some distance to view the property. Contact person was very friendly BUT Arrange to view a property and was told a confirmation email would be sent. It wasn’t! No big deal mistakes happen. So I sent an email to confirm details and time of visit. Received a very pleasant reply thanking me and again told a confirmation email would come. It never did even 4 days later. Day of the appointment 20 minutes before the agreed time. I received a very apologetic phone call asking if the viewing could be delayed 30 minutes because they were having a bad day. Not great but these things happen. 50 minutes later, time of rearranged viewing get another apologetic phone call they cannot find the key so a viewing would not be possible. Elderly relatively now completely stressed out and total confused of what’s going on. Can’t help but also think about the poor people paying them for this service.NegativeQuality
