Awful experience, rented from these guys back in 2017. Flat was awful, assistance was awful and the application process was horrendous. Reviewing only now after seeing my old emails with them whereby they were completely disorganised. They didn't do anything dodgy with my deposit or such but the price and conditions of the property were unjustifiably bad and considering it was my second rental property, it was suspect that they were so suspicious of my background.

A few months ago I viewed a house in STOKE ON TRENT through the estate agents called NORTHWOOD, who pride themselves on how well they communicate and sell houses etc. Now unfortunately, Its felt that my experience was awful due to the fact I was accused of wasting their time, which I didn't as it wasn't my fault the house shown to me was behind some very noisy commercial buildings and the fact that she said she should have have checked my paper work to see if I had a mortgage in place, which I did I had a mortgage in principle in place as I was actually thinking of moving there but my circumstances changed and a BTL was deemed appropriate. My BTL mortgage got approved so once my mortgage went through and these things do take time. Then the mortgage lenders did their valuation and refused to lend me any money for this property and the reason was noises from behind the house, which is no fault of mine so I couldn't proceed with the purchase. I found this attitude unacceptable and did email to tell her this to which she said I didn't have paperwork which I did eventually - and she's CCd her manager about my complaint. I recieved no apology.

Francesca it also incredibly helpful, going above and beyond, dropping my post to me that was delivered to my own address. I am only leaving 4*'s simply for the fact it hasn't been along period of time so am not sure how they deal with any problems were they to arise, but I am optimistic!

I rented a property through Northwood and yesterday I had my first property inspection with Kye. Kye is a very friendly and professional guy, he arrived promptly, he carried out the inspection with the minimum of fuss. He checked that I was happy with everything, it honestly felt that he was generally concerned about people's happiness in their properties. Had a house visit by Kyle 18th September. Kye was professional, prompt, polite, and friendly on introducing himself. (Remember first impression last). He was thorough without intrusive on our privacy. Also a shout out to Paula, and Mandy, who both very are attentive, and helpful, whenever help is needed, always delivered on returning calls, whenever they say they will. Not an easy thing in such a busy schedule. Both appear productive and very experienced employees. I don???t normally give reviews but credit mus be giving when due to deserving ones. Kye was awesome as always always makes us feel super comfortable and is super friendly. Always make sure the alarms are checked and any maintenance issues we tell him about are followed up on and sorted as quickly as possible. He is very accommodating as to when he comes for the inspection being more than happy to come at a later time as we needed to go out and prefer to be home when he inspects. Overall top bloke and we wouldn't want anyone else coming to do the inspection.
