I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Scott and Roxy for making the whole process of buying a house at Winceby Fields, Gleeson Homes so simple, quick and efficient. From initial enquiry all the way through too completion, nothing was ever to much. Both Scott and Roxy were happy to work around my work schedule, even coming in on days off to help. Even though I reserved the house at the last minute, Gleeson managed to accommodate all finishing touches I needed. What really impressed me was the aftercare service. Even though I’ve not had any issues, they have checked in with me to make sure I’m happy with everything in the house. Would definitely recommend Gleeson and will be back to buy again!

No aftercare as promised

When our property was handed over to us, we were told on our doorstep from the sales team and the head of builders, that should we have any problems with ANYTHING on site to get in touch with customer service. Our problem is regarding the covenants that we had to sign, these are not being adhered to with quite a few properties on our housing development. Contacted customer service who have literally told us, there is nothing they can do to make sure all properties uphold these, get legal advice! So asked a solicitor and they have told us that the developer can enforce them while still in control of the site, which they are! Very disappointed in the over-promising during sales and now falling back on the legal reality.

Their After Sales Is Non-Existant

There after sales is rubbish. They do not want to fix problems that they have caused. When we moved in, our back garden looked like a dump for builders rubbish. They came and rotated it to remove bricks, rocks, builders rubbish. They could not of rotated very deep because when the weather turned nice, I started to dig the garden and found loads more builders rubbish and a lump of concrete about 2-3 meters wide and 5-6 meters long about an inch under the soil. I raised a complaint with Gleeson's and they refused to do anything about it.

Excellent First Time Purchasing Experience

I'm currently in the process of purchasing my first property as a sole first time buyer from Gleeson Homes, Hays Park. I cannot thank Sarah enough for the sheer commitment & determination to ensure a very smooth journey throughout the purchase. It's very rare you come across a Sales person that doesn't push anything on to you unnecessarily. She is honest & committed to keeping the train on the tracks for you throughout your home purchasing journey. Sarah comes highly recommended to speak with if you are considering buying at Hays Park, no question is too silly & no problem is ever too large. This is my first ever Trustpilot review and I feel it is warranted judging by my experience. Simply an incredible person with incredible customer service, she's a credit to Gleeson Homes.

I have been chasing since SEPTEMBER

I have been chasing since September as to the state that our estate has been left in. They have moved off this site now and it is clearly out of sight, out of mind. Constantly being fobbed off with the same ‘we are chasing our technical department’ response. The management company have not took over yet so it is of the responsibility of Gleeson to do this yet these ‘managed’ areas have been left for months and months leaving it a scruffy mess. Just goes to show the disregard they have once they have their money!!

What a great job done by Gleeson

Gleeson Homes spring mill have been amazing. I started by a visit  with Paul the sales representatives.  What a nice man from that that day. I was telling him I have my house  up for sale.  How I was getting a lot of time people but giving silly offers.  He helped me by telling how I should approach that . The easiest agent we used was no help I was on my own. Well it was a great help  I sold it . Great help Paul.  He kept me well informed of the house I chose.  Even phone me every week.  We was passed on to the senior team member.We have been kept informed with every step of the way in the process of our new home. Suzanne the senior sales executive been there. throughout and as been more like a friend to us rather than a sales person. Thank you Suzanne and Paul for every thing. We moved to our new Gleeson Home in Wragby Hawthorn Fields Lincolnshire in August 2024 and the experience was excellent. Scott our main sales advisor was brilliant so helpful caring and friendly going over things for us, always answering our phone calls ( there were a few ) as we lived about 40 mins away. Explaining everything he needed to do regarding the buying and more. He is a credit to Gleeson's.I would just like to add that Bethany, Angie. and Jordan have also been very helpful and professional.The on site care since we moved has been fantastic with one of the site managers Adrian (Adie) helping straight away with a couple of snags we had.But all the on site people are happy friendly and again professional.We hope to have many a few years in our lovely home. Dream came true!

This was my first and only experience with a housing group in the UK, and Gleeson was incredibly helpful from the start. I remember having a list of property viewings scheduled for the first day of my home-buying journey, but I had no interest in attending other viewings because I wasn’t keen on purchasing a previously owned home. Surprisingly, my first viewing was with Gleesons, and I didn’t bother with any others after that. They made everything so easy and provided all the information I needed.As someone from Sri Lanka, I sometimes struggle to understand the accents of UK-born people, but Gleesons went out of their way to ensure I understood the entire process. They supported me through multiple meetings and were flexible when I changed my mind several times regarding extras for the home.One of the most significant aspects of my experience was receiving the key worker deposit from Gleesons, which was a huge help in gathering the initial deposit. Without it, I would have had to wait much longer to save up from my salary. They were by my side throughout the process, making sure I wasn’t alone until I could see my dream home become a reality. Now, I’m eagerly waiting to move into our little dwelling, designed just as my daughter and I envisioned.Thank you so much, Gleeson!

We immediately felt welcomed when we visited the site by Jodie and she took the time to show us the site and around the house we’d been interested in. Jodie was instrumental in chasing up our Solicitor’s when deadlines loomed and she kept us informed of developments weekly. After moving in, we did have a few issues which we reported to customer care and I must say that Glenn has been extremely helpful and supportive and we are impressed with all Gleeson staff that we have been in contact with, they’re a credit to the company.

I found the staff at Gleeson Homes, especially Angela Berrington and her colleague Lauren, to be extremely courteous, helpful, thorough and professional in dealing with us as customers at the time.They were communicative and obliging and represented Gleeson Homes exceptionally well at all times.The houses are seemingly of a good standard with lots of space - it would be nice if the Aspatria estate had more in the way of bird and bat boxes and installations for nature, however everything was good apart from that.We thank them for their time and help.Mitch and Lucy

We purchased a home on the Leadmills Walk development in the Tees Vally region, had excellent service throughout the sales process. Jackie kept in regular contact providing updates. Snagging problems have been dealt with quickly by Andrew and Zoe. Zoe from customer care always makes sure I am free and to make sure little disruption is caused. Matt who comes to do the snagging, is polite and professional and is very knowledgeable and efficient. Minor snags with the home, but nothing major and it’s how they resolve and respond.Would 100% be looking to buy my next home with Gleeson.

Noisy

The noise level at the site at Neville Hill, Leeds is like living at the back of a field where they are landing a helicopter - except that it goes on all day and has been for months. I can hear all the reversing alarms and large machinery and the air vibrates even inside our house with the windows and doors shut. Complained and they said 'We note your comments regarding the vibrations from the machinery, whilst we appreciate large machinery is use, factors as such are out of Gleeson Homes control'. They are not in control of the noise or vibrations from the machinery that they are using.

She tried her best to help get the sale through and has checked in on me ever since I moved in.
