Little Trust for this Agent

As a purchaser I was lead to believe the seller had a strict deadline after which they wouldn't sell. The agent harassed us with daily calls and emails and we worked in good faith and quite hard to make sure we were ready. When our solicitor informed the other party with the required 3 days notice, it transpired that the seller's solicitor had not been made aware of this "deadline" and as a consequence wasn't prepared for the transaction. Turned out that the seller was fine with completing after the deadline and we still bought the house. This was either a huge failure in communication between the agent and her client or at the worst an intentional deceit to sell faster. I was purchasing other properties with this branch and I stopped answering their calls, we communicated through the solicitor and completed fine without the agent interference.
