FacebookWe turned to Joules when one of the bigger, flashier agents in Heaton Moor messed up our sale. The difference was immediately obvious. The team at Joules was professional and honest, and took the time to produce a fantastic brochure for our house. They reassured us when we felt disheartened, and guided us through the viewings and negotiations to the point where our house sold for a price we were happy with. They even chased up uncooperative solicitors two links down the chain, to make sure we exchanged on time. Our only regret is that we didn’t choose them first.

GoogleWe rented a house through Joules following a re-location and I’ve never delt with such a shambolic set up. First of all they asked for more rent than the property was advertised for (Due to some made up story someone had offered more) and then let the house out in appalling condition - despite promising it would be pristine. We have listed over 20 faults with the property that should have been addressed before we moved in, including faulty central heating and the fact half the lights had blown. A “feature” of a fireplace turned out to be a dirty piece of paint splattered cardboard. It was also filthy, despite the landlord claiming the property had been cleaned. They were also happy to leave us without central heating working with a 5 week old baby. Repairs are non existent and require constant chasing for anything to happen. I am sick to death of chasing them... the problem is they are behest to slumlords who they make their money from and don’t want to upset the apple cart. Would have expected more integrity from a business like this rather than trying to keep landlords happy by not escalating faults and letting tenants suffer -‘especially when charging more rent than was advertised. Will not be buying our next property through them and have already talked people out of doing the same.

GoogleThis establishment is a rare gem. The owner personally comes out to appraise the property and will spend as much time as it takes to understand your needs and value the property based on all the history and work carried out rather than using generic prices using online systems. This is a genuine local family run business which is a credit to the area and you should look no further if you want to genuine credible estate agent with the personal touch. Keep up the great work guys.

FacebookBeing no stranger to rentals, I’ve had my fair share of dealings with unsatisfactory letting agents. Joules on the other hand are a breath of fresh air, and have exceeded my expectations in every way. We rent a property with Joules, and the entire process of signing the contract, to moving in was seamless, professional and most importantly, stress-free. We felt like we were part of the Joules ‘family’ instead of another disposable tenant which was very refreshing. Having contacted Joules a few times over the course of 12 months, the customer service and contact has been spot on. Having moved in to a newly refurbished apartment, we had a couple of teething issues initially which Joules resolved for us within 24 hours with no fuss. Jack and Jamie in particular have been fantastic - nothing is too much hassle, and they have gone out of their way to help us on a number of occasions; I’m sure my dealings with the rest of the team would be the same. GoogleVery high signing fees and staff weren't very helpful - over-promised during the house viewing then under-delivered once we'd handed the fees over. Didn't even bother to relay a message to us from the landlord so when we arrived all the furniture had either been sent to a skip or put in the basement. Spent the whole moving in day sorting out furniture.
