Extremely unprofessional company.Absolutely no communication skills with each other (or with us as the landlords). This resulted in us losing money, and money being taken incorrectly on several occasions.Whenever an issue was raised with Stephen, we had to send numerous emails over weeks to receive any answers as to what was going on. They always had to be chased up, and would never email on their own to let us know what was happening.When an issue had been raised, some staff would send patronising emails, rather than trying to solve the issue, especially Chloe and Lauren. This was just another area of unprofessionalism that was shown.A company that was sent to take photos to assess damage to the property was appalling. They 'forgot' to take photographs of important areas that had been damaged, such as the flooring that had come up.A tenant reported a leak to the company, which was not reported to us at all (again a lack of communication). This resulted in us having to pay over 1500 pounds for a new floor.We were told that no further money was owed to the company, and all that was left to sort was the amount of deposit money that would be returned to us for damages to the property. When we received this, hundreds of pounds had been deducted from the company, with no explanation as to what this was and why this was deducted.On another occasion, we told the company not to carry out an annual gas check as the tenant was leaving. They ignored this, did not even bother to let us know that they had carried this out until over 2 months later when we continuously questioned what was going on. We never received this money back, and despite emails proving the lack of communication, not even an apology was given.It became extremely obvious that this is simply a money making business, with no regard for the customer. We originally had Bridgfords in full control of the property, however with every necessary repair, they would always quote ridiculous amounts compared to any other company that we dealt with. They tried to take money off us at every opportunity, again with a lack of explanation and no actual service.We have numerous properties, and would definitely not recommend this company, or use them to manage any of our properties in the future. A huge improvement in communication and professionalism needs to be made.

We had a house to sell which needed a lot of renovation by the buyer so it was not an easy sale for the agents. They were so helpful and persevered with things. At all times they were professional and kept us informed of progress. They accompanied viewings and vetted potential buyers for us. We would like to single out Sophie the manager of the Stockport branch and Ruori who both worked tirelessly on our behalf at all times and they were totally professional in all their dealings with us. We are very grateful that they managed to sell our house when time was not on our side for a purchase. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Put house on market with bridgfords after very impressive sales pitch promising a high level of service. Big mistake!!! Told them I wanted them to do viewings but they repeatedly turned up after the viewers so I had to start viewings and they took over towards end.( so embarassing) most of viewers were time wasters and not in a position to proceed with sale. Staff at office getting times and dates wrong.When I took it off market because they were making it so stressful they showed no interest at all. They then sent me a letter with names of all the viewers to give to any future agents so they could charge commission if I sold to any at a later date and reminding me of all the ways they could charge me commission. Would not recommend this company at all !!!

From the first call you could see how professional bridgfords were and the competitiveness of there pricing and packages. After the initial sale falling through due to the buyers mortgage being pulled Sophie pulled out all of the stops and did everything she could to secure another offer, in fact she secured two at the asking price just a few weeks later and the sale completed seamlessly! I couldn't be happier with the professionalism, attitude and determination she showed to help me and I was kept up to date with progress on a weekly basis!

They rented me a house at 26 Jefferson Walk ST16 1WF and I listened to construction noises for 1 year and they forced me to sign an additional contract for 1 year even though I told them before. They tried to rent me this house above market prices. When I left, they had no other choice so they rented it to others at a lower price. They are not honest and try to rip people off. Also, do not trust the zero deposit system, they work together and try to get money from you

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. We applied for a house over 3 weeks ago and kept getting told empty promises and it was always us chasing, never the other way around. We were told a way to apply and we sent out application off. We chased a week later for Megan to say we have applied in the wrong format. We sent the application in the way it was requested just hours later and after chasing twice more we have still not heard anything. From having people living on the same street we were applying, they informed us that they are still conducting viewings. So, they did not have the courtesy to ring to tell us we were unsuitable for the landlord. Instead we were being kept hanging on a thread every time we had to chase them and then never get replies to emails. Very disappointing.
