Arlene is my property manager and has been at my current flat for about 2.5 years now. She’s always very efficient, friendly, and patient. Our boiler broke last night and while we were in a bit of a tizzy about a cold flat for Christmas, she took no time in calling the plumber straight away and it was sorted before 1pm today.
Thanks for taking the time to leave us a 5* review and relieved to hear your Boiler was fixed in a timely manner for Xmas.

In Stirling to move a daughter from a rented property 3rd floor (68 steps) to her own new house. She was the last of 3 tennents to leave. I arrived and started to load my backpack with everything she owned. I removed 3 of my private items ( chocolate cake, my tablets & new tub 1000mg codliver oil tabs) out of my bag onto a set of drawers unto I came back. I filled my backpack with other items to transport. We delivered a car load to new property, on entry back to remove more items from flat we realised someone else had been there. The unopened cake was now on livingroom table, tablets were untouched, new 1000mg codliver oil had disappeared. Martin & Co admitted to being there at that time to check a room of another tennent. No request to entre the property was ever made, this is a common trait with them. This is very unprofessional & concerning were young females are concerned. We cleaned the entire flat regardless and my new H&B col liver oil worth £15 was never found. It was clearly (100%) removed by a very light fingered letting inspector. My opinion is this is a "Very unprofessional company" with 1 inspector who has let himself down for the sake of £15. Think twice when letting & get it in writing that they will not enter without prior notification. Shameful on 1 persons behalf.

GoogleWorst letting agents!!! The property I rented was electrically unsafe, it did not meet the repairing standards, live electric wires hanging out the ceiling, light switches taped up with masking tape, they said it was a minor issue. I got a reputable electrician to check out the property who deemed it electrically unsafe to live in. Myself and children never moved in due to this. Martin and co knew about these issues 2 months prior to my move in date but still chose to ignore. The staff are arrogant and blatantly lie about everything and try to intimidate you. Imtiaz Ahmed ( managing director) took me to court for rent arrears, himself and Kevin Valentine appeared at court and lied on oath, oh also my partners ex wife appeared as a witness against me( she had not a thing to do with this) she lied under oath too. I won the court case and didn't have to pay a penny thanks to all the evidence I had. The property actually belonged to the managing director of Martin and co Stirling.
We are sorry you feel this way however the facts are we instructed a contractor a few days prior to your tenancy commencing. Unfortunately the contractor advised us incorrectly that the work was complete and the property was electrically safe and fully compliant. When you moved into this property you alerted us to the outstanding issues that remained and we responded immediately by instructing another contractor who as soon as was practically possible, attended the property and rectified all of the issues recorded. The properties that we rent out are of a high standard and we ensure as much as possible that they both meet and exceed the current standards set out in law.
