I moved permanently with my family from another country. We are very happy that we have entrusted Rose Williams to find us a property to rent as our main residence, and a few months later, a property to buy to let. Rosie was always very patient with us, as coming from another country we always bombarded her with questions which she always answered in a polite and a professional manner. When Rosie found the ideal 'buy to let' for us, she introduced us to Allan, (branch manager) who helped us in the purchase of the apartment. Before the exchange of missives Rosie had already found us a tennant, so that no time was lost to start receiving rent ASAP. After our experience with Martin & Co we have entrusted them to manage our property,and to date it is going well. A big thanks to all the staff at Stirling branch , who made our move to Scotland a much less stressful experience. Keep up your good work.

When I first dealt with Martin & Co they were a breath of fresh air compared to the other letting agents in the area. They were professional in the advertising of the property, and did a good job of setting up a tenancy agreement. There things seems to come to a halt. It was a couple of months before tenants moved in, and in that time it seemed they lost interest in providing a service. There were things that I had to deal with with the tenant that should have been agreed up front. They were casual to the point of negligent in getting meter readings and arranging the handover to the tenant. When I complained I was met by a barrage of excuses and self justifications, rather than dealing with the issues. So overall, good in parts, but they could brush up a lot on attention to detail.

Several months after moving out of a rental property through Martin & Co we were contacted by a debt collection agency, apparently the landlord had not paid any bills after we left and the utilities company thought we were responsible. Several more months later Martin & Co have still refused to provide us with a check out report or even a statement advising when we moved out, both simple documents that would have resolved the issue quickly. DO NOT use this company if you don't want to be held liable for bills long after you have moved out.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
