using the company is one thing. but working for them is another. treated like absolute s***. false promises and dodgy scrips to learn. management are awful, so called ‘leaders’ give false motivation and crap advice. ‘too depressed’ to be on the phone apparently all for less than minimum wage for 50+ hours a week. exploitation at it’s finest. how funny.

Disgsusting service. Promise a friend to get them moved within 2 months and it has been 4 and no dat given. Now they say 2 weeks delay. Seriously disgusted. Not an agent my friend dreamed of selling. Do not recommend this at all, an absoluate waist of money and a load of time if you r going to use them.

Incompetent survey, uncontactable.Terrible surveyors. Performed a survey on our flat and incorrectly identified a health and safety issue with our windows that was contradictory to national legislation, putting our whole sale in jeopardy. What makes matters worse is they are uncontactable as they hide behind their estate agents who will not permit any discussion of the survey and are intentionally obstructive.

Very disappointed with Connells. Twice they were supposed to conduct a revaluation of a property, having at least two weeks notice. Both times they cancelled due to the person being sick, without arranging someone to cover. They failed to communicate this to the mortgage company and ourselves until very late in the process, causing us a lot unnecessary stress.

I recently used Connells to purchase a property. Shane Clancy and Abi Goodyear provided an excellent service as my mortgage broker and coordinator team. They ensured that any issues were resolved and that i was kept informed at all times. A delay from the mortgage lender near the completion date was quicky escalated to higher management level to ensure the sale would progress smoothly. Thank you Connells.

Joke! Absolute joke! Just valued my house at 50k less than the previous co did a couple of months ago and since then we’ve had significant work done. Incidentally the valuation they came up with was only 25k more than we paid for it 14 years ago and it was literally just a stone shell. Like I say, total joke!

We have been in a property sales chain of 3 since December 2019 - 2 of which have been sold by Connells. We have been promised move dates of March, June, August and still not got a date to move. They have been unable to sort any issues out for 10 months .Even allowing for covid that smacks of serious incompetence.

Really dissapointed with the service from these agents. Never come back to you on the phone with updates on the offer I made, rude on the phone and shoulting. I've been trying to arrange a viewing for 4 days which never hapen and in the end hanged up the phone on me. Waste of time 100%

Connells surveyors dont have a clue about house prices, down valued our house by £200k, meaning we were 2.5% over the target LTV and cost us £200 per month? The local professional and knowledgeable agents all valued the house £200k higher, this valuation, is so low, it almost feels dishonest, just so the Building society can charge more interest. Avoid like the plague if you can.

These guys are horrific. Messed us about moving in, messed us about while we lived here and now messing us about to make us leave, only 12 months in. Replied to a repairs request with an eviction notice, lie through their teeth about everything. Absolutely shocked at the level of quality here, expected more from connells.

Put forward a cash offer (£5,000 over the asking price) on a property with Connells, they told me the vendor rejected it. I’ve now discovered the property was sold just 3 months later for £3,000 less than I put forward). Avoid this estate agency they are not trustworthy

Part of our house had to be demolished. The full building survey from Connells was full of significant errors. They do not follow their complaint procedure- our complaint was passed straight to their legal team- who refuse to answer calls or emails.

Connells surveyor conducted a home purchase survey, supposedly.Failed to notice basic structural issues such as the roof being wonky! Main roof timbers clearly deformed by simply looking quickly through the loft hatch.Survey findings comprised of just a few lines basically confirming there was a house, made of brick, at the address.Doubtful that a surveyor actually attended the property - likely used Google Maps.Horrendous quality service.

Although this company provided what was contractually required, I was disappointed with the overall level of service.Following a complaint about an element of the service provided, our contractual relationship hit such a low point that the only remit left was arbitration via Ombudsman Services, via the published ADR scheme.Had I know what would have occurred, I would not have used this company in the first place.

Rubbish customer service. Maintenance department awfulTook weeks to get anything sorted. Offered no forms of compensation for being without basic things like hot water for over a month. Made life extremely difficult for well over 8 months. was not even informed I had a new landlord until I rang them up and was told as an afterthought. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY GO ELSWHERE

Trying to book a house viewing should be straightforward. They are more interested in selling mortgages and other products. My son has been looking to buy a house and while other agents are easy to deal with, Connell's have added friction and are very pushy. So much so that they are off the list for potential viewings.

After several years of one mistake after another, we have finally changed from Connells to another letting agent to rent out and manage our property. I don't know how that is going to work out yet, but honestly no- one could possibly be less efficient or less interested than Connells. The front office staff are great, but the back office doesn't appear to exist...
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
