GoogleDisappointing experience as tenants, played any issues raised as if they were normal. Deposit jumped more than 10% in a year and processes are slow. Tenant viewings when I was moving out were disorganised, people showing up without the agency and loitering outside asking around. Lastly it took 3 weeks with chasing, to see any of my deposit returned when I left, which is frankly appalling.

GoogleMy sister and I have moved with King's Lettings twice now and both times they have been nice, efficient, and straightforward which helped us a lot the first move as it was our first rented flat ever. They're very understanding and respectful and I'd definelty go to them for a third move in the future if I can.

YellKings lettings staines, give the black woman her £350 back!!
Kings lettings Staines have deprived me of my £350 holding deposit.They should act like an organisation with some integrity, deduct admin charges and send balance back to me.It's bad enough they proclaim they aren't satisfied with references, but have served me a double whammy of no accommodation and seizure of my money.It shows they are in the red. Desperate to rip prospective tenants off.

GoogleIt was nice to work with Kings Lettings. In one week they managed to arrange the tenancy for me and my partner. On Saturday we had the viewing and on Saturday next week we moved in. GoogleMy experience with Kings Lettings, Staines Branch: On a Saturday, I viewed a property listed by them, and I really liked it. On the following Monday afternoon, I told them that I would like to apply to rent the property. I was sent across the application form, via email, shortly afterwards. I filled in the application form and sent it back via email, along with all the documents they requested. I then transferred the deposit - £350. This was done around 5pm. Immediately after transferring the deposit, I contacted my brodband provider (Vodafone), told them that I was moving home and requested them to move my connection to the new property. They did some checks at their end and then told me that they are not able to connect me at the new property, because their Fibre service is not avaialble in the area. I then checked with PlusNet, SKY, TalkTalk, etc and was told that I can only get a maximum of 4mb internet connection at the new property. Now, I am an IT professional and I work-from-home a lot. Hence, a decent internet connection is vital for me to do my job. When I realised that I cannot get a decent internet connection at the new property, I immediately requested Kings Lettings to not process my application. I told them about the situation with the internet connection speeds at the new property and how I will not be able to do my job if I moved into the property. This was done within 30 minutes of transferring the deposit (around 5:30pm). I then requested them to kindly refund me my deposit, £350. I was told that, since I completed the application form, which meant that I signed the contract, the deposit is non-refundable. I told them that I did understand that the contract says that the deposit is non-refundable, and that I was only appealing to their discretion. I requested them to please consider the following and kindly refund the deposit as a gesture of goodwill- a. it was less that 30 mins from the time I transferred the deposit to the time I requested them to not process my application b. a fast internet connection is vital for me to do my job Multiple appeals to the manager of the branch yielded no result. They keep saying that they CANT refund the deposit, as it says in the contract that it is non-refundable. I am sure that, if they use their discretion they CAN refund the deposit, but they don't want to. If anyone from the Kings Letting agency is reading this - I request you, once again, to please kindly use your discretion and refund me my deposit.

GoogleAfter a year dealing with this agency, paying monthly on time and taking care of the property, they decided to increase the rent without any improvement in the flat. Plus trying to play us to get our deposit. I DON'T RECOMMEND IT
