I’m leaving this review as I am currently renting a property in Stafford with Martin & Co, from the offset they have been nothing but genuine and honest, Cheryl and Suzanne have gone out of there way to help me with renting a property with them and feel I’m not just another client, Any issues I have had has been swiftly resolved with a minimal of fuss. All the team are very friendly and accommodating with the reply of emails and calls swiftly answered. Well done Team a very well earned 5 stars !!!

5 stars isn’t enough, if I could I would have given Jodi and her team 10 out of 10, I couldn’t fault Martins at all, having just sold the family home of 25 years for my parents to down size and move closer to family. There’s no corporate or pushy sales from Martins, Jodi came across as very professional and friendly from the start and we felt that we would get the personal service from Martins. From the first meeting with Jodi for the valuation right the way through to completion nothing was never to much trouble. With what turned into being a complicated sale and with myself not living in Stafford and having to deal with everything over the phone Jodi and her team were always very helpful every step of the way. Martins are a happy, professional and friendly estate agents with a first class approach who are willing to go the extra mile if need be. Have been dealing with this company & it's staff for a number of years now, & frankly, they're great. Efficient, punctual, nothing's too much trouble, very easy to contact by phone or email, so helpful & friendly. Had previously has bad experiences with letting agents, but these lovelies have restored my faith! Absolutely disgusting service. I wanted to view 5 properties on a Saturday afternoon, understandabley they could not fit them all in so I requested we fit as many as possible in the time I requested. I had a voicemail when I was at work so called back on my break to be told there was no bookings left on Saturday!! Molly was rude and hung up on me after saying “I don’t like your tone” and Sophie was more interested in how convenient it is for them to do viewings than trying to fit around us. Clearly they don’t want to let their properties out. No communication happens in this office either as apparently if you ask to book a time, someone else can book the same time for somebody who requested it after you. Also did not get put through to a manager when I requested one

They said I damaged the toilet lid and I had to pay for it. I asked a lawyer about it and he said it was simply wear and tear so I didn't have to pay for it. And they did not give me pictures of how the lid looked like when I moved in. Because I have a highly demanding job I had no time to dispute. I decided to get it over with and just pay them but I was not happy at all. To make things worse after 2 days of the move out inventory they lied to me that I damaged the bathroom sink. The picture showed a crack in the sink like something heavy had dropped in it. It was a very noticeable crack that they couldn't have missed when they did their inventory. Instead they noticed a "damaged toilet lid". It is quiet obvious that some essential components like the toilet lid, seat, tank and bolt may need routine maintenance, repair and replacement due to wear and tear. Too many discrepancies for a "well known reputable company..."

The ladies at Martin & Co are absolutely brilliant, they are all more than happy to help and sort any issues fairly, we got into our property super quickly and the whole experience was both smooth and professional, Helen is an absolute gem (#ManagementMaterial) and is more than willing to get her hands dirty when it comes to negotiations! As for the girls they are always very friendly, super smartly dressed and presented, polite and an absolute joy to deal with. All are absolute assets to the Martin & Co working family!
