GoogleI was a tenant and Castle Estates were so good, when I later purchased a property and wanted to rent it out, I went back to them as a Landlord. In both circumstances they have been absolutely brilliant and I would recommend them to anyone. The poor reviews are probably from disgruntled tenants who, like my current tenant, have not paid their rent and then wonder why they get asked to leave. Castle have managed the situation through my insurance and I am very impressed so far. That said, my tenant still hasn't been evicted but hopefully that is in hand. He hasn't paid any rent since December last year, it's not almost May, but my insurance has covered my losses.

GoogleInvade the house every few months to look round, will let themselves in as others have said. Notice letters are not given soon enough for tenants to arrange ample time to take from work if they don’t want strangers walking around the property they are paying to live in. This is horrible for people with anxiety.
Will allow you to move into house that is filthy dirty but expect it to be as new when vacating, down to petty things which they then overcharge for. Staff often seem to be clueless about issues and will pass you from pillar to post. Some staff genuinely do seem to care but getting through to them is difficult.
