GoogleFrom viewing all the way to letting a property, Maxine Lester have been wonderful! Not only are they extremely professional, but also amazingly friendly and approachable. I've been renting for a few years now, and I can say with confidence that Maxine Lester are the best agency I have dealt with by some distance! The move had been arranged in a very short space of time and along each step of the way the team had been very responsive and extremely helpful. GoogleBoth myself and my partner found Maxine Lester to be thoroughly rude and unpleasant to deal with. Avoid if possible. My attention has now been drawn to the response by Maxine Lester. It contains false and defamatory material. I have now instructed solicitors to commence proceedings against Maxine Lester.
Hallo Mark, thank you for putting our conversation in the public domain. I am delighted to reply. I am sorry that you found the need to give us basic information in order to set up a viewing with the property irrelevant. As mentioned we do not know you, or your situation and before setting up any viewing the initial conversation tells us a lot. The safety of our team is paramount and since you took such an aggressive stance perhaps you can understand why we were not willing to deal with you. I have now listened to your conversation with my colleague and would agree with her that you were rude to the point of being aggressive. Not the sort of person we want to deal with and certainly not the sort of person we would want to introduce to any of the Landlords we work with. By giving us a low review because we would not be bullied into doing what you want just shows the general public the type of person they can expect to deal with.

GoogleGreat Landlords, not so good agents. It pains me to write this review, despite having a fantastic and amazing experience with my landlords (who privately managed the property, rather than the agents) the same can not be said regarding the agency. The initial move in was smooth, good and efficient. Holding fees and contracts where dealt with well. The issues started upon the final couple of months of the tenancy, specifically the arrangement of new tenant viewings. The agents rang to discuss suitable days in which I can allow viewings for new tenants, despite this on numerous occasions the agents went against this, booked viewings without informing me or on days in which didn't work for me. Even ignoring the legal requirement of 24hours notice on one occasion. viewings went missing within there system, and many viewings where not arranged in accordance to your own legal agreement. As someone who works from home and deals with sensitive data this wasn't good enough. This was only solved by complaining multiple times to the agents over the phone. There seems to be a big issues with basic communication within this agency. Be aware of this. As it has put me off renting with this agent in the future.

GoogleMaxine Lester are terrible. The owner Maxine Lester is quite the rudest person I have had the misfortune of dealing with. No wonder there is a high turnover of staff. Any estate agent would be better than this one. DON'T GO THERE.

GoogleMaxine Lester have been very helpful with any issues, not that there has been many. The few we have had have been responded to quickly, usually the same day and been sorted within a few days where possible. Theyve given plenty of notice for any visits or other requests.
