TrustpilotIssue fixed- Boiler issue with no assistance
Issue Fixed, one of the Managers called us on Sunday to discuss this and everything has been fixed on the day after. Remarkable. Really appreciated it!Still renting one of their properties in Edinburgh. Our tenancy ends on the 21st on July and last Monday one of the boiler valves just blew up, leaving us with no water. We've been calling during the last four days, hoping for this David to call us back in order to let us know about someone able to fix this, but it seems like he's too busy to send a good plumber to replace the valve so we can get water back normally. Even though we are leaving, we paid our last rent as we've been doing for almost three years! I think we deserve some attention!

My partner and I were looking for a new flat and DJ Alexander could not be more helpful. Many of the services were automated and online meaning that when we did need access to information it was readily available. If we did have more questions, and there was a lot, our contact Laura Mc was extremely responsive and friendly, often picking up the phone within minutes of me sending an email and remaining professional and friendly throughout. This is so much better than the agents I've dealt with in the past who takes hours or even days to respond. Next time we move, I'd definitely want to use D.J Alexander again!

We valued having a single person through the process actively progressing the sale and providing suggestions as we encountered some tricky issues. My son and his flat mates have been waiting for his deposit to be returned since vacating a rental property from this company on 1st June. They are not responding to the deposit safe company, my son or myself despite numerous calls. The checking out team have no direct lines of contact. You have to await a phone call which never materialises. Awful service which is causing stress, anxiety and financial difficulties.

They had a good selection of properties and found what seemed like a nice flat with them, the problems started when we moved in.First the roof leaked as a constant stream of water into one of the bedrooms each time it rained, this was initially brushed off as “unusual high amounts of rain” to a low priority problem and only got fixed 1 month after reporting and constant pestering. This was followed by a leak from our bathroom to the flat below, which meant we couldn’t use it for 2 months before it was fixed. Then the simple problems of a blind falling off the wall in one of the bedrooms took two months from reporting (and pestering) to being fixed, this impacted privacy and made sleeping for night shifts difficult.We initially stayed as we were told they were working on a compensation package if we did, which inevitably never came. If I could sum it up it would be looks good initially, but they are very slow at dealing with any big or small problems, which is kind of the opposite of what you want as tenants and I would avoid if you can find properties with other companies!
