Yasser and all the team were absolutely amazing in selling my dads flat for me. They all worked very hard and kept me up to date with everything that was happening. I honestly don’t have one complaint in anything they all did.Yasser In particularly was fantastic at his job and I was very impressed with him from the get go. All the team made a very difficult time for me so much easier and I’m so grateful to them all. Also the lawyer Donald Towsey who Yasser got for me was also brilliant. We’ve recently finished our tenancy application processing and are ready to move into the flat now. We’ve had the smoothest experience all throughout yhe processing and we didn’t have to worry about anything.It was all taken care by DJ Alexander. I asked openrent to reference check one of DJ Alexander’s tenants at the Edinburgh branch. They ignored this request, and when I asked the tenant to makes enquiries with his letting agent about what was holding things up, they informed him that he would have to pay a £30 admin fee to DJ Alexander before they would release any information about the tenant. Compete ignorance and taking advantage of a tenant in a comprisable situation!!

Her kindness and willingness to help has made the experience feel a lot more navigable, as she is incredibly efficient, addressing all our questions (which have been, on occasion, quite obvious or niche) very promptly. Wonderful service from the Edinburgh Lettings team. However, when it come to offer stage, everything was slightly mismatched and somewhat confusing for me as the person enquiring and wanting to live in the property. My offer was put forward despite being told we should wait for a document from my solicitor, being told my offer was fine and it was being sent over. I was then told it was looking like no to that property as the landlord had a lot of questions? I was not told what these questions were and absolutely no correspondence since. I can’t say my experience with the DJ Alexander Edinburgh Lettings team has been pleasant at all.

I am writing this review specifically to praise one member of DJ Alexander's staff, namely Kjartan Behm, who, over eight years, has been far and away its most honest, keen, clear, sharp, witty, helpful, and direct member of staff. Tip-top fellow.The overall company, I'm not too fond of, it has a tendency towards hefty bureaucracy, and corresponds with the stick, rather than recognizing tenants are its business and pay its bills. But at times it has some excellent staff who break through the corporatese to actually get the work done.Kjartan stands out, however, as its finest example of a man getting the job done and being a tip-top human to boot, so chapeau to him indeed.He made everything from start to finish work.

We have had 2 viewings with DJ Alexander, with Eilidh and Blair. Both have been very hospitable and walked us through the apartments to provide context and detail. This has been above and beyond any of the other letting agencies we have used. Both Eilidh and Blair were very professional and were able to answer all our questions.
