GoogleBest letting agency that I have ever dealt with. If I have a problem it is fixed straight away. Only had 2 issue and both were rectified immediately and the flat is in excellent condition. Friendly, reliable and and respectful. Really enjoy living in my flat and dealing with this lettings agent.

GoogleI was a tenant managed by Gemma. She was amazing. When we ended our tenancy she was really flexible with us and made sure to give as much notice as possible for viewings when we were in. We got our full deposit back thanks to her guidance on what we were obliged to do as part of her contract. If I had property to let, I wouldn't think twice about using Gemma due to her professionalism and personal touches with the tenants. As experienced.

GoogleNot only has Gemma swiftly sorted out a tenancy for us within a 2 week period, she has been the most helpful estate agents I've been with (over 7 different agencies). Gemma has really gone above and beyond and responds to emails and any found missed faults with the property within a few hours of reporting them, swift response times with communication with the land lord, and helping me and my wife with getting a property while we waited for my wife's visa to come through. The true icing on the cake is when I stupidly locked myself out of my apartment only 3 days after moving in, and Gemma, outside of office hours, helped me collect a spare set of keys to get back in. I would highly recommend Gem Lettings to everyone with their top teir service!

GoogleI’ve been a tenant in rental properties for a good part of the last 35 years and I can honestly say that Gemma at Gem Lettings is the best agent I have ever dealt with. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Problems that other agents would make into a drama are handled efficiently and quickly with no fuss and a warm smile. When you rent properties you accept that things sometimes go wrong and picking up the phone to the agent can be the dreaded start of protracted battles to get problems fixed. But not with Gem. Every maintenance person they have sent out arrived quickly and always went the extra mile to get things back up and running. A really personal, first class service!

She was always prompt and helpful in replying to my emails and queries which was so important trying to arrange a rental while overseas. Giving Gem Lettings 2 stars because I actually had an ok experience with them when she let my property for me.As I said, Gem lettings managed the showing and letting of my propertywhich went mostly to plan (aoart from a slight inflexibility to around the wording of the contract), but when I conducted an outgoing interview with tenants I discovered a few horror stories of information not shared, strange behaviour and apparent dishonesty - telling tenants I had said things I hadn't.I won't be using her again

GoogleI have carried out work in Gem Letting's properties for many years now. Gemma has always been polite, friendly and efficient to deal with. Unlike the tenants of some other letting agents I have worked for, I haven't heard any negative comments about Gem lettings from her tenants. In fact, Gem lettings seems to be growing in popularity in this very competitive area.

YellFound: the worst estate agent in Hertfordshire, Gem lettings
My wife and I were looking to rent an interim property and found a great one on rightmove. It was being let through Gem lettings in St Albans, so we arranged a viewing. We met with the eponymous "Gem", who was barely able to raise a smile. We put it down to her having a bad day, but what followed was a cocktail of unprofessional behaviour that began with evasive answers, obstructiveness and an inability to return calls and ended with her actively lying to the property owner (we have this from the owner herself), where she failed to pass on our offer! We can only assume we had rubbed her up the wrong way and she decided for her own personal reasons to scupper our chances at the property (ignoring her clients interests).Would not recommend Gem lettings to anybody except a casting agent for a sitcom about a terrible estate agent.

GoogleHad a midweek viewing with Gemma O’Sulivan, she didn’t even bother turning up, she gave no notice of cancellation nor answered her phone on the day. Absolutely disgusting way to treat people, I wasted a whole evening because of this lazy incompetent woman.
I'm so sorry if we didn't turn up because this is very uncommon. I have checked and we haven't got anything booked in the system and also we haven't received any calls or messages to say that we hadn't arrived at the viewing but apologies again if we have got this wrong.
